EMBARRASSING… St. Louis Cardinals BLOW Multiple Leads And Lose To The Colorado Rockies Again

I am sick. I am absolutely sick after what I just saw from the Cardinals on Wednesday. Hey, it’s JD from Locked on Cardinals. The Cardinals held leads of 2 to nothing, 3 to one, and 5-2 against the Colorado Rockies, a team that is on pace to have the worst record in the history of baseball, and somehow figured out a way to lose to them again, this time by a score of six to five. Hunter Goodman, the one guy you can’t let beat you, ends up hitting a pinch hit two-run home run in the ninth inning off Jojo Romero, who was not sharp at all, threw a meatball right down the middle that gets tattooed over the center field wall. Blasted a two-run shot that I think is still going uh in the game on Tuesday to help beat the Cardinals. McGrevy pitched well, Burley yard. Bottom line is the Rockies take four of six against the St. Louis Cardinals on the year. They have 28 wins against the rest of the league this season. Just let that sink in as we await the New York Yankees series this weekend. For the latest updates and info, be sure to keep it locked on Cardinals.

  1. Maybe now the St Louis Media will stop touting this guy as the next Dave Duncan with the Bullpen? You have one lefty out there and they are pitching his arm off.

  2. How do you win the season series against the Dodgers and Phillies but lose it to the Rockies. I agree this makes me sick to my stomach beyond frustrating

  3. Sure would have been nice to have an actual closer in that situation. You would think that it being Mo’s swan song that he’d want to maybe go out on a high note. I understand going into the season the expectations were low and if we were sitting double digits back at the deadline from a wild card spot, then I see them shutting it down. But he had the chance to shock the city and actually make moves to improve the team and go out looking better than he deserves to look. But bow tie Mo would rather just coast on through his last season and collect the paycheck.

  4. I mean this happens consistently right. Maybe the adrenaline is higher against stronger teams or we are just plain old lazy

  5. Put it this way: the woeful Rockies have won 32 of their 120 games played so far. Four of those wins — one-eighth of their win total — is against the St. Louis Cardinals. It is embarrassing.

  6. Mozeliak is calling the shots, and Oli is doing the best he can with his hands tied behind his back.

The Yankees, Mets and Dodgers are all losing streaks, despite payroll which attracts the very best players on the planet

Our players on the field are doing the best they can during the Dog days of summer heat.

It’s not the players fault, it lands square on the shoulders of John Mozeliak.

Card ownership cannot let MO come back into the organization as some kind of consultant or in another position .
