For the first time since 2018, the Milwaukee Brewers have won 12 games in a row. That means Milwaukee-area burger chain George Webb will once again honor their pledge, first made in the 1940s, to offer a free hamburger to each customer in honor of the occasion.

The streak is over Friday.
Best thing about this is that one we hit 12, we’re all good. It’s like it starts over already. No need to stress about how far we can go, it’s like we’re back to normal. Like golf where you stress over how long you can go without a bogey and that weighs on you. Having a worry point cutoff like was hit makes it easier to keep doing well.
Ah yes the good old Brewers absolutely crushing it 3/4 through the season just so they can get their shit pushed in in the divisional round. A tale as old as time.
