We have some big news to go over today is the Toronto Blue Jays have made a sneaky good signing, signing a young but talented starting pitcher who is very intriguing. We’re going to break down exactly who that is. What his Arsenal entails and discuss what this means going forward, but not only that, we have multiple huge Jays updates to go over today, including a massive update finally surrounding George Springer. A ton to go over today, folks. Before we get into it all, quick reminder to hit that subscribe button. And obviously coming off a pretty rough game yesterday. They have an afternoon game today. Hopefully, they can take care of business and win the series. But folks, they made a signing last night that is very interesting and we’re going to break down exactly who this player is and discuss. I did some research on him and it’s interesting and this is of course using some of the money they got in that Miles Straw trade when we all thought they were going to get Roki Sasaki to open up some international bonus pool money. But let’s break down the tweet here. Now, I’m going to do my best to pronounce it. I researched as much as I could and tried to kind of get the pronunciation right. So, if it’s wrong, let me know down below. Do my best, though. Breaking Francis Romero. The Toronto Blue Jays are expected to sign 18-year-old Korean pitching prospect. So, yes, he is a starting pitcher and he’s only 18 years old, Moon Sajun for a bonus of over $1 million during the current 2024 2025 international signing period. Sources tell Bisebol FR. So obviously Moon Jun is a very interesting you know player and if you’re unfamiliar with him I don’t blame you at all. I did some research. I got some you know little not really footage but some clips and things like that to uh or at least to I’m not going to show the clips but obviously highlight. You can see this here in the article. Romero noted that the Blue Jays had a little over $2.1 million remaining of their bonus pool money. Meaning they’ll have 600,000 remaining. Now we know they got a couple of really good players we’re going to be talking about later on. But they just spent some of this extra money on 18-year-old I’m going to call him Moon for the rest of the video. He stands at 6’5 and averages 90 to 93 mph on the fast ball, touching as high as 95 m an hour. There’s still projection remaining in his frame and his best pitch is a slider. And Moon also throws a curveball and a change up. Folks, he is, I guess, a unique pitcher to say the least. He is 6 foot5 and the velocity hasn’t quite come yet. He is a righty. hasn’t quite come yet, but this guy, I mean, they’re using, like the article says, some of that international bonus pool money. They use some of, you know, under one million on Juan Sanchez, who, boy oh boy, stay tuned for a video. That guy’s insane. And now, of course, for, you know, from uh Moon, he is in a interesting spot. Is he going to go to the, you know, Dominican Summer League? Is he going to go to, you know, somewhere else? That’s the big question. But shout out to Damon here, and feel free to check this tweet out yourself. He basically goes two minutes showing some clips of him. He was, of course, the international free agent sign. He was set to become a top pick in the KBO draft. Lots of physical projection and his fast ball has already reached 93.8. And again, he’s 18 years old. If he can develop into that frame a little bit, he can maybe touch, you know, mid to high 90s. And the Jays are obviously have done have done a fantastic job so far with prospects. Their rankings have went from the 27th best in baseball this time last year to now the 20th best in baseball. even after trading with Jordan Watts Brown and Kendry Rojos and you know on road and graduating all these different things they’re in a very very good spot and to get a guy who’s 6’5 and has a you know very a plus plus slider at 18 years old it’s an exciting signing and this is of course all part and use using some of the money that they got in the Mile Straw trade and I mean the Jays seemingly so far did okay in that trade obviously at the time everyone wanted Roi Sasaki longterm Roki’s probably going to be better than Miles Shaw and Moon but at the same time you’re getting a ton of value from Miles Straw this year. You’re getting hopefully a ton of value from some of their signings. And you can see here, someone asked Brandon, is there a chance he turns into something? No clue. Though, the organization clearly likes him. Probably worth viewing him through the lens of a two to three round draft pick just based on the bonus he appears to be getting. So, for all you guys who want to kind of put it into perspective, he’s probably the same value as a round two to three draft pick, which is very good, right? And and pitchers come from everywhere. And obviously, we have the recent first- round pick, Jojo Parker. Excited for him. Former first round picks Trea Savage might make his MLB debut this year. Overall, a very intriguing signing. I think this is going to be a sneaky good signing simply because of the fact he’s so young. He’s 6’5. He has the ability to be someone who really grows and develops into his frame and that’s the exciting part. 6’5, 210 lbs, and it’s uh it’s going to be exciting. So, feel free to check out the clip. I’ll I’ll leave a tweet I’ll leave a link to the tweet down below so you can watch the uh the full footage there if you’re interested. But, folks, it’s cool. It’s very cool, especially to see them use some of that money and they’ve already used some of it on Juan Sanchez. Unbelievable. We’ll dive into a full video here. He’s going to be the Jay’s next superstar. But there’s a lot of things coming up on the on the channel. But let’s dive into some big news. Jay’s lost yesterday. I mean, the starting pitcher on the Chicago Cubs is absolutely unbelievable. We’re going to, you know, pretend that game didn’t happen. Forget that game for today and take on some of the good news. George Springer is finally ready and he is officially going to be uh returning. But we’ll dive into that in a second here. He spoke out recently about what it’s been like missing games. And before I kind of dive into what his return means, I just want to dive into what he’s been going through. And you can see this here. He says he felt out of it for a while after suffering a concussion when he was hit in the head by a pitch in late July. I had days where I felt good, days where I didn’t. And three or four days ago, I had my first good day. He’s been gone for like a while now, over a week. And he said, “Being sideline sucked because I want to be with the team. I want to play. And there’s nothing more I want to do than be on the field with these guys every single day.” And shout out to George Springer. The Jays lost their best hitter. And you know, Vlatt’s probably heated up to be their best hitter. Now, Springer’s going to be going on a rehab assignment. So, the big news here is obviously that he cleared MLB’s concussion protocols, which took a lot longer, like a week or weeks longer than we all initially thought, but bearing unforeseen circumstances, we’ll play today as DH. So, we get to keep an eye out for that. And Buffalo is stacked. You’re getting, you know, Shane Bieber, you’re getting Treyus Savage, I believe, today and then Bieber tomorrow. So you might get a Treya Savage George Springer game in Buffalo if you’re near the earth for you to go watch. But after that he may get an initial game in the outfield depending on his needs. It doesn’t seem like they’re going to give him tons of games in Buffalo. One or two games and then they’re just going to send him back to um send him back to the Toronto Blue Jays potentially for that series against the Rangers which would be a heck of a series to send him into. Jacob Deg Grom, Nathan Yavaldi. I think Yavaldi’s first. Let me know down below. It’s uh it’s a little bit wild, right? It’s a little bit wild and at the end of the day, very good news to see him back and brutal, brutal news that he got obviously, you know, took this long for him to recover. Hopefully when he comes back, he’ll be, you know, back to wear a semblance of himself. And I always bring up 2021 where he was hitting really well, got hurt, and it kind of derailed the season. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen. And at the end of the day, it’s uh it’s a little bit unfortunate that he missed the first while of the or rather the last couple weeks of the uh of the season. But it’s interesting. Hopefully at the end of the day here, George Springer will be back soon. Regarding Alec Manoa, he threw 49 pitches over an inning and two/3s, did, you know, not great, and he didn’t even hit his pitch count because he was walking so many. Worth noting that pitchers recovering from Tommy John surgery can have their 30-day rehab assignments extended in 10day increments up to the 60-day limit. We’ll have another full video on him. He’s not looking great. I don’t think it’s going to factor in this year, depending on how Trey Savage does today, depending how, of course, Shane Bieber does tomorrow. And it’s worth noting, I think Trey Savage is starting today, but to see how they use him out of the bullpen going forward and to see what kind of, you know, interesting um I guess avenues they have for Trey Savage to become, you know, to the big leagues and become a a big leager, you know, all intriguing things. One other thing as well here before we uh we wrap up is that top prospect Owen Casey will join the Cubs in Toronto. Sets up a big league debut at Roger Center against Max Sherzer. Sherzer today. And of course Owen Casey making his debut, the Canadian making his debut at the Roger Center. It all fit perfectly and shout out to him. You know, obviously he’s on the other team, but I hope, you know, wish him the best in his career, but not tomorrow. Let’s hope he goes 0 for four in his debut and Max Sher takes care of business. That’ll wrap it up. New signing, the big boys back. George Springer’s returning and hopefully the Jays can take care of business tonight. Luckily, the Boston Red Sox lost yesterday, so the Jays remain four and a half games in the lead for the AL East. Thank you guys for watching. You guys are peace. Justice.

  1. Where was the "putting the league on notice" video last night??? ..if winning one game vs. the Cubs should scare the league, shouldn't losing one to the Cubs dismiss us to the league? Seems logical!

  2. This signing (if Shatkins is here long enough) will be mis-managed then traded for someone else's scraps. Shatkins values other GM's prospects over his, almost always! UNLESS, he keeps his whip extremely low, ERA extremely low (not low, extremely low) and high strikeouts – he'll survive but he will also have to deal with the herky-jerky/in and out/back and forth, rollercoaster of development, and most likely have to learn another position (even as a pitcher) all at the same time to be successful in the Shatkins development program.
