  1. The most recent nine-inning perfect game in Major League Baseball that was also completed in under 90 pitches was thrown by David Cone in 1999. He achieved the feat with 88 pitches.

  2. As frustrating as it is that some of these aren’t ending up as hits, I’m hopeful that the Cubs starting to hit the ball hard again is the start of the offense heating back up.

  3. Keep stinging balls and hustlin boys. I know it’s frustrating, but keep grinding. That kid can smack an old vet. We gotta like it.

  4. Taylor can you confirm that Owen’s dad sells propane and propane accessories?

  5. I know he’s done nothing so far. But I’m glad we didn’t trade Cassie for a random pitcher. Cassie + PCA is years of control of a hopefully incredible duo. If we traded him to acquire Alcantara or someone, at *best* we would have won 3-4 more games at this point, and we’d still be like 4 GB lol

  6. I’m sure he’ll laugh about it later but if I was Cassie id kinda wonder if the baseball gods were mad at me lol

  7. Man he clobbered the first pitch he saw off a future hall of famer and it got robbed😭

  8. I believe Canada is a backwards place, and that Dansby was the first Cub on base strengthens my belief.

  9. Dang the CF just snagged that as it bounced over his head. Could’ve gotten wacky out there

  10. one of em had to fall in eventually. we’ve been getting a lot of loud contact early

  11. This feels like when I’m mindlessly grinding MLB the Show while watching YouTube or something and I’m just hitting rockets on the first pitch every time but the CPU makes a crazy play lol

  12. I would love for the Cubs to draft a Scherzer type and keep him his whole career. Maybe it is Horton.

  13. Hit rockets all over the field until there’s a man in scoring position. Then 2 shitty at bats! That is indeed Cub
