#DallasCowboys Fish at 6 LIVE: #Packers Trade Offer For Micah? Joe’s A Go? Missed Out On ‘007 Bond’?
Fish at six. Is this real? The Packers and Parsons and the Cowboys. Wow. Let’s dig in. I’m Mike Fischer, your trusty and trusted reporter. This is the Fishbowl. Everybody’s back at the Star tomorrow. Uh the Cowboys broke camp, fly back, travel day today, family day on Friday, and Micah Parson’s day every day. Well, actually, it’s a Jerry Jones day every day. Michael Parsons. A sidebar to it. There’s the six bongs on the wall as we get to it. Three items on the fish for dinner menu tonight. Parsons and the Packers. What’s the Joe and Dak setup for this weekend? And 007 Bond. Let’s get to the first one first. And uh some of this is a new journalism lesson. And some of this is, let’s break down the the realities, the possibilities, the logistics of it all. Ricky Scoops is the Twitter personality who has come up with this one. And at first blush, uh, this report, which is that the Packers have made a very serious offer to the Cowboys, trade offer for Micah Parsons. Okay. At first, you’re like, Ricky Scoops, isn’t he the guy with the Spuds McKenzie logo? He’s kind just kind of goofing around, isn’t he? And what what I’ve learned over the course of time as a big Jerry journalist is times have changed. Uh, who’s he work with? Where’s his photo? What’s his name? Is it even a he? Uh, as a as a journalistic dinosaur, those things once mattered. Those things really mattered. I I’m I’m needing to learn uh speaking of Spuds McKenzie, how to be an old dog with new tricks. I am not scoffing at this. Now, let’s break it down bit by bit by bit by bit, and we’ll do it with your help because your comments here are going to help guide us. We’re going to start with Christopher David’s uh Uncle Fish Premium. He’s not getting traded right. I’m still 99% I’m still unbending there that Michael Parson’s trade demand is serious, but and the Cowboys made a mistake in poo pooing it publicly. That that wasn’t good. That wasn’t a good idea. But that Micah also loves the star and this thing can get done here and will get done here. So that’s aspect one. Do I think this is do I think a Micah Parson’s trade is going to happen? Do you think one’s going to happen? I don’t. But and Henry Gonzalez recognizes we’re going to go classroom barroom here because the classroom is What’s the trade offer? Who are your sources? Who is this person reporting this? That’s that’s classroom barroom. It’s the wild wild west in sports journalism. Now, so next, what is the offer? I don’t know that specifically. I know that there is a Khalil Mack kind of a bar to be jumped over. Jeremy Rutherford $2 pitch in the super chat. Give me three first rounders and you can have him. Two first round picks and players whatever that that’s the bar that you have to jump over. Here’s the problem with the three first rounders or the two first rounders. This comes up every time somebody brings up Buffalo should trade for him. Buffalo’s first round picks the next three years are going to be number 31, number 28, number 27. That’s not very good. What about Green Bay? Is Green Bay going to be good the next three years? Probably. So, it’s one thing to say I would trade Micah Parsons and get a and get three top 10 picks. It’s another thing to say, and VJ, you’re right. We’ve covered this, but we haven’t covered it through the Packers prism. I I think the Packers are probably going to be with Jordan Love, they’re probably going to be good the next three years. That means their picks are going to be 24, 25, and 26. not good enough. Can we play around with an idea? And I don’t know the Packers roster, and you probably don’t either. We know the Cowboys roster up and down. I don’t know the Packers roster. Do they have a starting quarterback? Do they have an affordable starting quarterback? Because that’s part of the reason I’m doing this. I’m getting rid of the $40 million player. Do they have a an affordable starting corner? And do they have an affordable starting nose tackle? And by the way, if you want to give me a running back, I’ll take that, too. Now, do you listen? If you’re the Cowboys and the Packers have really made an offer, and let me do sidebar here. I think there is somewhere in this mountain of a story at least a grain of truth. That is to say, at the very least, somebody in in Green, the Packers have discussed this or the Packers have touched base with the Cowboys or the Packers are telling people they’re interested. There’s something like that there. Or somebody’s bumped into the agent. There there there is. And I’m going to This is my 99% bet this way. Somewhere in this mountain of stuff, there is a granle of truth. Steve from Texas, where’s the beef? It might be this big, but I think it’s in there. Is there a package that the Packers could offer that the Cowboys should say yes to? Problem? They’re going to trade your best player. And as a matter of policy, if I’m running a football team, I draft I’m trying to draft great players, then I’m trying to develop him into being greater and then I’m trying to pay him. Cowboys have already blown some of that. Does that mean they should blow through all of it? Whenever you make a trade, you hate you hate to be the team that doesn’t get the best asset the best asset in this trade. Give me two first round picks and give me a good starting corner and give me a good starting nose tackle. The best asset in the trades, Micah. That’s a problem. Josh Schaefer, Uncle Fish Premium. Best Cowboys news always from Uncle Fish. Part of the reason that I appreciate that you appreciate what we do, we do here is because you recognize I’m not trying to blow this into something it’s not. I’m not pretending that I know more than I know. John Fulton, why would you bring in Pickkins and then trade Micah? Agreed. If you brought in Pickkins here, it’s because you were serious about this year. But think about this, John. This is why I can’t trade Micah for just picks because then I’m forfeiting this year. I’m giving away my best player and I’m not replacing him with a player. Well, now I’m forfeiting again like I did last year. It’s blow it up all over again. I’ve ruined and I’ve ruined the DACK era and the $60 million a year DACK era. I hear you, cat. Get in line with everybody else. 75,000 fish heads in Cowboy Nation. Can’t be wrong. Of course, they acquired George Pickins while they thought they were going to sign Micah and felt pretty good about it, not ever thinking it was going to come to a trade demand. Mark Sawyer, they will hug it and work it out. They will hug it out and work it out. 99% agree. The tension, the animosity, we hate each other. That That’s not It it It’s not true. Most of it tension is animosity is we hate each other is not true. No matter what ESPN tries to say, but it as soon as I give him what he wants, it’ll go away. raising sack. Trade Dak can’t do that. That’s that’s that would be cap suicide. Trading Micah might be roster suicide, but would be cap positive. Smith fan $5 pitch in. Why not keep Micah and trade your first and second round picks for productive CB and DT? If I’m going to trade premium picks, I don’t want productive players. I need stars. I need stars and it’s disappointing to already hear Jerry suggest that they’re not part He says the door is not closed but we’re not particularly pursuing outside help at quarterback and defensive tackle. That’s problematic. Dollar Tree. Can I get Jacobs and Reed and a first round pick from them? Can I get two first round picks? Keith, Jerry thinks we’re dummies. He’s going to sign a deal the day before the game or five minutes before the game or the night of the debut of the Netflix show. And isn’t that a shame that we actually have to give credence to this ridiculous, preposterous, phony concept of signing Micah to promote a TV show? Except it’s possible. Alvin Newburn, $5 pitching. Is the Dak era really over? If you trade Micah and don’t get players back this year, you’re looking at the beginning of the end. You will have another losing year with Dak Prescott at $60 million a year and then you’re one year away from escapability. You would have these new picks and you would rebuild with the new picks. Reed boy got that franchise tag. Don’t be afraid to use it. And they’re not. This team uses franchise tag all the time and they have contractual control on Micah. He’s got a contract this year, $21 million. They can tag him and they can tag him. Regina Jerry wouldn’t trade Micah because he’d be giving up the jersey sales. Many of you are saying don’t you don’t trade a great player to a rival. This is a philosophical debate and it’s a great one. This is barroom classroom. I remember talking to old friend Karman Policy when they signed Ken Norton back in the Super Bowl 90s and he said and I had him on my radio show. Uh yeah, I think so. Talked to him anyway. And he said this is a double whammy. We’re getting a great player and we’re stealing a great player. We’re making the Cowboys worse and we’re making ourselves better. Aaron Kzer, Uncle Fish Premium, 24 months exclusive. Exclusive. This is the best soap opera ever or the worst. Our chronicling of it might be great, but I think most of us agree it seems like it’s about 90% soap opera around here and about 10% football. And if you could just balance it a little bit. The Cowboys have made trades with the Eagles and to some degree I’ve kind of thought if it benefits me and it makes me better, bring on the Eagles or the Packers and let me kick their ass. There’s also a question of whether or not you should think of the Packers as a rival. Although, you know, last time we last time we saw him play in this building in an important game, well, you know, we got our results item. We’re going to see how uh how much legs this story has in the followup in the next 12 hours. If somebody in the Packers building at least thinks this, and I I believe they do, then that’s going to trickle out. There’s just too many good beat writers, too many good amateur beat writers to not to not be able to get to to find that granle. That is different than all the speculation that’s about to come. So, let’s make sure we separate that. Here’s what the Cowboys should do is different from what do the Packers want to do. Two different deals. Clam Pincher. This is ridiculous talk, but it’s not. Clam, by the way, I I I I’m glad my name isn’t Clam Pincher. It’s not ridiculous. I’m telling you, there’s a granule. Richard L. Facebook’s going to be all over this. Oh, the the and again, Facebook now is so fake that that the real story won’t be be believed anymore. And the real story comes from somebody silly and goofy as he is, Ricky Scoops, who he’s he’s got some he’s got some correct predictions on his resume. Jason Price, $2 pitch in Netflix. The name of that show should be the Bean Counter and the Bible Salesman. Jerry’s selling those doortodoor Bibles and Steven’s counting the beans. Uh, in days gone by, I want to get rid of this guy. I ship him off to Buffalo. That’s when Buffalo was where nobody wanted to be. Ship him off to Cleveland. Ship him off to Green Bay. That That’s all changed now, too. That landscape’s changed. By the way, if Micah is somehow steadfast in his demand to be traded, one of the challenges will be to find somebody who wants to pay him. Not everybody out there is ready to write $200 million checks. Richard S. There’s trade proposals from idiot reporters for 31 teams. That’s going to happen. Of course, that’s already happened. And I told you we wouldn’t and we we haven’t at cowboyscountry.com or here. We haven’t done six landing spots for Michael. We haven’t done that story because it’s lame. Gets eyeballs, but it’s lame. This, I’m telling you, comes from a place that suggests to me there’s a granle of truth. Antoine Jerry’s going to make money off this Netflix special and then he’s going to want to sign his own deal with him. And of course, don’t we already have? We already got cheerleaders. So, you’re on to something. While everybody was and continues to have so much fun in the Cowboys family with the TV show, I’m trying to run a football team over here. Reed makes an excellent point and Reed, you’ve been hammering this point this week. The difference between the Cowboys and the Bengals, because the Bengals are a contender. Bengals are every bit the contender. The Cowboys are the amount of casuals and nationals who care about Trey Henderson. Mo, the casual doesn’t even know who Trey Henderson is. And all he’s done the last two years and each of the last two years is 17 and a half sacks. And yet he’s not in terms of the marketplace, he’s not even in the same planet as Micah. I’m predicting that Micah will not get traded. I’m predicting that he will get a contract that makes him the highest paid non-quarterback of all time. I’m predicting there will be a press conference sometime between now and Philadelphia in which everybody hugs and kisses and laughs. But that doesn’t mean that the Packers aren’t sniffing around on the idea of trading for Micah Parsons, cuz I think they are. Next item, we have a Joe and we have a Dak. Congratulations to the Cowboys for a smart football decision. The starting quarterback Saturday night, Baltimore Ravens, Cooper Rush’s Baltimore Ravens rolling into town is not going to be Dak Prescott. That’s a story. That’s news, people. News. I’m a news man. As uh Shotti said today, Joe Milton is going to start that game. I do feel like the the Cowboys trust in saying, “Let’s just hand this thing to Joe. Number two job. It’s his.” I think that trust has melted. after his week one performance. Let’s see if he can fix it and and let’s make sure I and I I trust that the Cowboys quarterback coach Junko and the offensive coordinator and and Shotti himself who is by nature a quarterback coach that they can get this pounded into this kid’s head. You can throw the ball 90 yards, that’s great. We’re never going to need that. You can walk down the sidewalk and do a backflip. That’s cool. We’re never going to need that. What you need is a bus driver first. Now, if it’s a bus driver that can make plays, grand. If it’s a bus driver now who’s a developmental star and starter, terrific. First, you got to be a bus driver. Sean Stevenson, that’s correct. I don’t need a 90 yard throw. I need I need you to be able to throw at 10 yards. We’ll never need a 90 yard throw. We’ll never need a backflip. I need somebody to operate the offense. smoking. How are the bills over the cap? They’re not over the cap. There’s no such thing as over the cap. No, it’s illegal. It’s like, how is it’s like asking how is smoking with fats invisible? You’re not. There’s no such thing. But you can move money and do so many things. We broke down earlier on this channel what the the six guys that the Bills have spent big money on in the last four months alone in the Cowboys case because I know this is where you’re going and I don’t blame you. Cowboys have $30 million in cap room. There’s nothing stopping them from doing anything. So Joe’s going to start and I would say play most of it. Dak’s going to watch and that is a a wise wise move. Dak doesn’t need to do anything yet. Joe needs to prove that he can just run the offense. No interceptions, no fumbles. And by the way, I’m going to hammer this point home, too. Shotty, don’t call six straight passes to start the game. You’re just you’re asking him for trouble. Broken preseason quarterback success and failure a bad measuring stick. Correct. And that’s why that’s we’re not going off Joe’s stats. I’m not interested in his stats. I’m interested in I’m interested in the fact that he was he came out firing and was throwing it over guys heads and sideways and over here but throwing at 70 miles an hour every time. That’s what we’re talking about. That’s not managing a game. Pamela $5 pitch in the super chat. Fish, I can’t believe Jerry let things go this far. Neither can I. Somebody said today, somebody reiterated today the handshake deal thing. Okay, I’m telling you what I reported in March. The Cowboys, Jerry, Stephven, and mostly Jerry had three meetings with Micah. They absolutely came to agreement on some of the parameters of a contract. Micah brought up five years. Somebody brought up 40 million. Those things are true. And they quote, air quote from Stephen, they air quote Stephen agreed on those things. Now it’s being suggested that then they went back again and said, “Hey, can I do this, this, and this?” And Jerry said, “Yeah, we got a deal.” And then Jerry apparently shook his hand. It’s a handshake deal, and patted him on the back and walked out of the room instead of getting the agent on the phone and saying, “We have a deal.” And this leads, of course, to the marketing public relations conspiracy theory that Jerry thought they could sit on it for a while and milk it. But the longer they sat on it, the more other guys signed for more. The longer they sat on it, the more quite possibly the agent said, “Micah, we’re not doing that. We don’t need to do that.” And even if Micah said, “But David, I gave him my word.” David said, “But I have to give him my word.” And Jerry in this regard blew it. You can have your reasons for waiting. Jerry’s getting ripped for waiting. There could be reasons. The agent one doesn’t want to do it. The player doesn’t want to do it. You’re you think it’s too much. You want to see more leaves fall. There could be reasons. But if we ever find out that the real reason, and I I think we are finding it out. If we ever if I can ever superverify that the real reason that Jerry didn’t when they had their so-called handshake deal didn’t pick up the phone and call David and say, “We got ourselves a handshake deal. I know you can’t do a handshake deal. That’s not done, David. Let’s get on the speaker phone or me, Mike, and I will jump on the plane. We’ll come see you right now and get it done that day.” If we ever find out and can really verify that the reason Jerry didn’t do that is because he thought three months of publicity would be beneficial, shame on them. And finally, item three, and I’m glad you’re asking about it. So Isaiah Bond, who God’s had interested in, he was a he he was a premium talent in many ways at Texas. Uh he swings up here before the draft and gets himself in trouble because of a woman. And the details of of how they spent their time together are allegedly nasty. Well, today he got cleared by the NFL and the Browns snagged him. Now, should 32 teams have chased him? Here’s my thing about the Cowboys and Bond who’s calling himself on Twitter 007. And I don’t know if I’m like his manager or his parents. I’m like, let’s lo son. Let’s lowkey this. We You don’t need to pretend you’re James Bond right now. Okay, James Bond in Octo octopusy is not really where you want to be right now. All right, young fella. Just sign your contract, be quiet, and go to work. 32 teams should have had some level of interest in him. I suppose the trick would have been to draft him. Just draft him in seventh round. Then you then you you own his rights. I said it then, I’ll say it now. Partly because the Cowboys don’t particularly need that spot. Again, you always want talent, but you know, I got Lamb Pickings Turpin and I got a handful of good guys just trying to either good players or potentially good players trying to win the fourth and fifth jobs with all this junk. On the one hand, the last thing the Cowboys needed was to attach themselves to a Texas Longhorn star with a problem, which upon reflection makes it all the more shocking that Jerry Jones didn’t sign Isaiah Bond today. Fish out.

Great. So the first live bullets that Dak will face is the Eagles at the Linc? Yeah. That's a real wise move Fish. Yikes.
With or without him, this team is going nowhere close to the Super Bowl
If i was trading Micah i go with needs. We need a starting nose tackle, corner, and running back. The other ends will cover the number of sacks Micah would have. Besides Micah should want to go to a team that is interested in winning the Jones are not. If Micah can go to another team get his money and play for a team that wants to win. Dak and Cee Dee's career is over because they will be with the Cowboys past their prime so its about the money. This team as long as the Jones are ownership they will never be a serious contender.
FISH YOU ARE OUT WRONG
It would take a Hershey walker level trade to move Parsons
Jerry must really pay you good,to follow that has been of a franchise
Higs, kisses, laughs, and loses..Fans are delusional that this team will now and in the next 8yrs be a contender unless we get lucky and the Jones sell by then but as long as we hold ridiculous Jerry interviews, buy the merch, and show for the games Jerry will make his money and tvese same discussions will continue year after year.
Y’all it don’t matter who they ( Jerry & Cap Boy) draft, trade, sign or what HC they fire/hire nothing will CHANGE 🤔🤨💯
6 passes to start out is called evaluating your QB instead of scheming to win a pointless preseason game….
More clickbait. I never watch this podcast and wish I didn’t waste my time today.
Ugh! I am so tired of this useless talk about Micah. Let's just ignore this until after he is signed.
Without camp Micah is going to be a higher risk for injury once he starts playing. NIce job Jerry.
Jerry waiting does nothing but cost a lot more money and hurts the team.
From memory similar situation with Daks first negotiation. Had a handshake at 28 APY and waiting cost them a tag and 40 APY
Cowboys fans are so salty and crybabies. I've been a fan since the 80's. I don't see reasons to always bitch n moan. Enjoy the games and stop acting like y'all are GM's
Sam here
how do we know that micah and jerry arent doing this to mess with everyone in the media
Dallas receiving multiple 1st round picks would be a total waste. If those picks turned out great, they'd want big money contracts too and the Joneses would be right back where they are today. So, NO TRADES.
People… I guarantee Greenbay isn't the only team to make an offer! What are we worrying about anyway? We have 2 more double digit sack guys and potentially a 3rd!
Trade Micah for the Fish!!
I've said this a lot before, we would have to trade to someone like the Panthers, Jets, or Browns where we'd expect at least a top 10 with one or more of those picks. I highly doubt those teams would pull that trigger. The only teams that would trade for Micah are teams that think they're one or two players away.
Assuming Arch is good, I would say a way to ensure we got him would be the only reason to trade Micah. Dak is probably the 11th-15th best quarterback in the league and he's 32. You need to think about life without him, especially if you think you're upgrading. Give him a year to back him up and call it good. That is a dream scenario and won't happen. So we should just sign Micah as he is our best player and the only debate on that is CeeDee might be our more impactful player who does not shrink against elite competition.
I ‘m a old timer who remembers watching the ice bowl I hate the Packers as much as the Eagles
Micah should just play out on the fifth year option and tell Jerry to get stuffed
Treat Micah like Herchel Walker. Trade him for a king's ransom.
Jerry saying people used to mistake him for Lee Marvin?? What?
You’re under contract honor it
3 number ones and 3 number twos +
Fish Jerry does not care about winning it’s clear
Yes the Dallas Cowboys is not going to trade him because of the fact that Jerry Jones still got Micah Parsons for three more years .
BUY THE CAT A SHOCK COLLAR,🤔
KEEP THE REMOTE ON YOUR DESK🤔
ONLY USE IT WHENEVER CAT INTERRUPTS SHOW 👌🏽
Rams got two 1st rd in 26
We don't have rivalries because nobody's worried about playing us! Instead of fixing a 12-5 x3 time team Jerry Blows it up so we can go 6 and 11…
Ummm……just gonna say this right at the start…….do we REALLY want to be the reason the PACKERS go to the super bowl? NO! so what are we talking about? I hope that story is fake 😂😂😂😂
These owners are terrible.. have no clue on how to run a team
Great program tonight fish!!
Only way the Dallas Cowboys be able to take a trade unless the first round of a picks like the 10th or 15th or lease the 20th or know more than the 26th pick in the first round of the 2026 draft that could be the only way. I can see Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones giving up Micah Parsons couple a first round pick not just 1th .
Micah is one of few that are willing to stand for a super bowl win. I really don't see that in anyone else.
You'll ALSO NEED A BUS ROUTE IN WHICH WE DON'T HAVE YET !! & WON'T KNOW IF THE TEAM OR DAK HAS EVEN DISCOVERED UNTIL WEEK 1…..
#LET.THE.CAKE.BAKE 👌🏽🤔🤦🏽♂️
Yes Jerry Jones is not going to take the any players he going to want first round top 10 players that can play right now.
IF THIS HAPPENS WITH MICAH THIS IS REVERSE KARMA FROM THE HERCHEL WALKER TRADE NOT THE VIKINGS BUT DIVISION RIVALS PACKERS, THEY SAY WHAT COMES AROUND GOES AROUND AND I PRAY THIS IS NOT THE TIME KARMA CATCHES UP WITH JERRY AND THE COWBOY FANS. WE CANNOT MAKE THIS MONUMENTAL MISTAKE
Yes you don't trade any player to any of your rivals that you got to see especially the ones that you got to see twice in season but anyway you don't trade any of your players to any of your rivals know matter who it are.
I fault Jerry Jone.
For him to drag this out for publicity is so frustrating. I want to 💦 tobacco juice in his toupee.
We need Quinnen williams Breece Hall..and and 1st 2nd and 2nd & 4th in 2027..for Micah and Mazi smith..
The thing is Dallas hasn't really advanced in playoffs with Parsons. So to say the season would be lost is a bit of an over statement. Especially over 1 player. One player doesn't make a team no matter how elite they are. I do not buy that. I would rather Parsons play for Cowboys. But if he sits out and misses games. He can go .
Not super interested in a trade with the Packers…their draft pick will probably be in the 28-30 range
Load up on drift pick, with best player. I don’t like it but it’s or only hope. I know you need a little luck on picks, you kinda need to get it right twice.
Go easy on Jerry for making that mistake , he’s only been a GM now for …36 YEARS !!!!!! 🤬
These endless contract negotiations being handled via social media/legacy media is getting beyond old. Name another team who does this crap EVERY year.
