Let’s get to a little game called What’s More Likely? All right, Sims, you ready for this? Yeah, I’m ready. What’s More Likely? We see September through November, Aaron Rogers or December through January, Aaron Rogers? And just for the listeners here, uh Rogers first 12, okay, first 12 games, 219 yards a game, 19 touchdowns, eight interceptions, 6.32 yards per attempt. the last the last five games, 254 yards per game, nine touchdowns, three interceptions, 7.97 yards per attempt. So, who we going to see, Sims? This is a tough one. This is I know. Yeah. Right. And I’ I’ve been one that’s been saying a little bit like, first off, if I was the Pittsburgh Steelers, I would have Aaron Rogers and the starting offense play a few series in the preseason. I would, right? You know, just like you just like we’ve seen from you. You’re you’re a veteran. You’ve been a starting podcaster for 20 years here. You don’t you get on a new team and you don’t know how to hook up and you get a little nervous, right? Yeah. You know, now you get a game. Listen, you’re the home listen, you’re the home of Sunday Night. I will apologize to the fans of this show to and make a promise if indeed we move forward here. I will never talk that much preseason football again. So, uh, my apologies for what it is we did on Monday, but I’m thinking I’m on NBC. This is the big leagues. I haven’t been here in a while. I was at ESPN years ago. I’m talking to Chris Sibs and this is the home of Sunday Night Football. I have to do what the suits want me to do and I talk preseason football. I will tell you again, never again. It’s not happening. I will not talk that much preseason football. I apologize, Chris Sims. Continue until until Monday. Until we talk all week two preseason. All right. I won’t do it. I’ll pledge it to the audience. I’m not doing it. All right. All right. But but with within that too, no. I mean, I would like to see Rogers play. Why would you want to go to week one hostile environment? The Jets, you know, the Jets fans, they’re all going to want to crap all over Aaron Rodgers. They’re gonna, hey, Justin Fields, the old Steelers quarterback. Oh my gosh, he could show up. Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Glenn’s going to try to make a first impression to all the fans and what the new Jets look like. We know, you know, the Jets are talented, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Why would you want to go out there, I don’t care how long you played and have to like get the nerves out and get comfortable in the first real game of the year? I I don’t understand that. Again, I’ll say Tom Brady played in the preseason with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, even in his last year of his career. There’s value in it and I don’t get that. But within all that, I’m saying, and this is a tough one, I’m gonna go with December through January, Aaron Rogers. I’m going on a limb here, but one of my reasons is one, I think Rogers maybe has finally realized he can’t do the dink and dunkfest, right? And worry about that. You’re not going to win games that way. Two, I don’t think the Arthur Smith Pittsburgh Mike Tomman offense is going to going to deliver them all these short throws all the time. I think they’re going to be like, “Hey, we want to run the ball and then when we don’t run the ball, we want to attack down the field with DK Metaf.” And I hope they can force him to do that. So, I’m going to play that Roger self scouts thyself and realizes that and between Arthur Smith’s offense being like that, I’m going to say he throws the ball down the field a little more.
