The link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself, but this trade would see the Los Angeles Lakers receiving Grayson Allen, Dean Wade, and a 2028 firstround draft pick from either Brooklyn, New York, or Washington. the Phoenix Suns receiving Jared Vanderbilt, Maxi Kleba, and a 2032 second round draft pick, and the Cleveland Cavaliers receiving Oso Igodero. Iguodero. I mispronounced that. I apologize. But yeah, this trade obviously nothing crazy. But from the Lakers perspective, I actually like this return quite a bit. You get Grayson Allen, who is a pretty tough player to play against. Definitely brings some good value coming off the bench. Uh Dean Wade’s a nice player to add from Cleveland as well, but also too, you’re getting back a first round draft pick for players in Vanderbilt and Cleba as well as a second round draft pick that truthfully maybe aren’t worth that at the end of the day. So, um I think the Phoenix Suns here are, you know, adding some more depth to the lineup. They’re flipping Grayson Allen for two assets, uh Jared Vanderbilt and Maxi Cleba, as well as a future second round draft pick. So, for a team that kind of lacks draft capital, not a terrible move in that regard, but does this make the most sense? I mean, you’re adding some big men, I guess, in the form of Cleba and Vanderbilt. So, uh, especially for a team that’s pretty guard heavy right now, not a terrible idea to address the front court. So, not a bad move for the Suns. I would just be a little bit more hesitant for them, uh, to give up on Grayson Allen, um, truthfully speaking. So, I don’t know, not the biggest fan of this trade, I guess, uh, from Phoenix’s perspective. I’ll be honest, I don’t know much about, uh, like who Cleveland’s receiving here in this deal, so I can’t really comment too much on that. But if a first round draft pick and Dean Wade is heading back to the Lakers way, must be a pretty good player. Um, truthfully speaking. So, I think the Lakers do pretty well with this deal. I would assume the Cleveland Cowboys do pretty well with this deal. I’m a little bit confused why the Suns would make this deal. Um, adding to, you know, older players, I guess, for someone like Grayson Allen. But, who knows? Maybe his time in Phoenix is over. Whatever the case may be, if I had to rank this trade, I’m going to go Los Angeles one, the Cavaliers 2, and the Phoenix Suns 3. But as always, leave your thoughts.
