I believe the Yankees have top five easiest strength of schedule left and I believe I heard that the Red Sox have the ninth easiest.
Yankees also have a game in hand and an extra h2h game at home

FanGraphs’ odds are based on their in-season Depth Chart projections, which factor in their record now, their current/projected performance (which I believe is a combo of Steamer and ZiPS), and strength of schedule. The performance to-date only matters insofar as injuries/availability, whatever changes individual performance have had on those projections, and their current record being combined with their ROS projection.
Combine all of that, and they see the Yankees going 23-18 down the stretch, and the Red Sox at 20-20.
