Miami Dolphins 2025 Training Camp Day 15: Dolphins Big Rebound!
Day 15 much much better than yesterday. [Music] What is up Finn fans? Last day of joint practice with the Detroit Lions and it went much better than yesterday and we got some fantastic news about Chop Robinson. Uh and we made a roster move. So some it’s a good day. Tomorrow they have off. I will be doing my preview tomorrow for the preseason game that happens Saturday. I will be live Saturday 1 pm for that game. Then I think they have off Mon uh Sunday and Monday and then Tuesday joint practice. So you’ll get the joint practice for me Tuesday and then right after my video releases. I’m getting on a plane flying down to Florida and I will be at jo at not joint practice, it’s just regular practice Tuesday, but I will be at the regular practice Wednesday and the joint practice with the Jaguars on Thursday. So, I got a busy busy week heading down to Florida next week. Uh, anyone that’s going to be there, want to say what’s up, I’ll let you know what time I’m getting to camp and if you want to come take a picture, whatever, I will be vlogging and all that good stuff. So, I’ll update you again as we get closer. So, the Miami Dolphins did make a roster move, unfortunately. Yeah, we’ll use this one. Uh, roster move. We have signed offensive lineman Yan Yodney. I’m assuming that’s how you say Kajusti and have placed Germaine Ephetti on injured reserve. We signed Germaine 11 days ago. So, like the Dolphins have like the worst luck when it comes to injuries and we signed this offensive line in 11 days ago and he’s already hurt and we brought somebody else in. So, just just horrible news. Um, this is interesting though. Many on Good Morning Football uh speaking on to his postpractice comments yesterday saying for Tua to say that for me my mind goes to it must be really bad. Um, this is from Chris Kaufman. He said, “One reason I said a player only meeting could happen. Waddle was frustrated. Tua for him practically livid. Dodson and Brooks got into a fist fight. Um, it should I don’t make projections off of joint practices. Too many moving parts, but the players should care. It’s only uh it’s one of the moving parts. Spoiler. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, the Dolphins need to show some heart today and have a bounceback practice against the Lions. There’s no excuses for coming out with lack of energy like Tua said was the case Wednesday when practicing against opponents that and you know I didn’t even see that part. So again, apologies on my part that I didn’t tell you post game that the postgame the um postpractice interview that Tu has said that that they had a lack of energy. Like what kind of garbage is that if you’re going into a joint practice and you have a lack of energy? So, you know, they came back and again, I’ll keep saying this until we get into it, but they came back and they did have some fights. So, I just lack of energy. Like, come on. What is going on in that locker room? Someone’s got to step up and and really, you know, chirp at him. Uh, and a little tidbit of information before we get into the practice stuff. Kyle Brand uh of Good Morning Football said, “There’s a chance this terrible,” in quotes, “dolphins team is sitting at 2 and 0 and all of a sudden the Knives are not out because of some dumb joint practice scrimmage. Let’s take it easy. The Dolphins might turn things around.” And yes, 100%. Like I said yesterday, uh it’s not great to hear about the joint practice and we don’t know how that will translate to the regular season, but it’s something that you should keep an eye on. Miami Dolphins edge rusher Chop Robinson is going to be back on the practice field after yesterday’s injury scare. Mike McDaniel said it was a rib hit Chop took. He’s good to go, which is fantastic to hear. Uh, Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel also said his current plan is to not play the first team at Saturday’s second preseason game, but he’s open-minded based on how Thursday’s joint practice goes. Um, I find that interesting. Why wouldn’t you want to play your first team? Uh, and essentially what is the dress rehearsal of preseason? That’s something like if anything, don’t play him last week and play him this week. But like, if I was the coach, I would have him play like a quarter on Saturday and then not play next Saturday against the Jaguars. So, just interesting to hear that. Dolphins Tyreek Hill did not practice Wednesday uh for preventative purposes per Mike McDaniel who said that the star wide out likely would have suffered a long-term injury if he would have suited up. That’s not good to hear. The new uh offensive lineman Kajjusti, again I’m probably butchering his name, is wearing number 63 with his hometown Miami Dolphins. Chop Robinson indeed spotted as Mike McDaniel said he would return a day after taking the hit to the ribs that carted him off. Um, Dolphins running back Devon Chin not immediately spotted with his position group Thursday’s joint practice. Dolphins defensive tackle Zack Cer didn’t uh doesn’t look like a man who’s practicing. He is not in pads wearing a ball cap watching the line indie work. He probably just got the day off. Um, so no need for alarm there. Uh, Dolphins absent from the joint practice. Devon Achan, Andrew Meyer, Austin Jackson, Baron Maddos, Alec Gingold, Ashton Davis, Mo Kamara, and Tyreek Hill. Um, Steeler, like I said, with his hat on. Same goes for linebacker Jaylen Phillips. Uh, and then we get into on the field stuff, and it’s gets interesting. So, let’s jump into this. Bonner breaks up uh the inut to Raymond. Perfect opening period for the Dolphins D uh to start four for four. Waddle working today and makes an impact right away. First play of seven on seven is a to a dot with a tow toe drag swag in the back of the end zone. Next play a touchdown to Eric Aakama. Ball at the 10. Miami forced two checkdowns to start the period and Fatu Milfanu blankets J Mo incomplete. Love hearing that. That’s how they started the practice with Tua just throwing dots with touchdown after touchdown and then the Miami Dolphin defense coming out and and taking care of business and and doing what they had to do. Two at a waddle for another touchdown. Results response off to a redhot start. Had a great view of Tu’s manipulation rep. He pumped to Eric Zukama on the pivot. high defenders moved when it was uh within then replaces him with a dot to Malik for six. This is from a Lions beat rider. Lions defense giving up too many touchdowns early. Uh Chap Robinson participating in one-on- ons. Uh tried to move to the inside and gotten got taken too far in by Pen Su. Lions O line is taking everything short in this red zone period and Miami D is raking uh at the ball right there at the catch. Willie Gay puts a hit on a pass catcher. Then John Saunders punches it free for the turnover. Reporting live from Allen Park. This is Isaiah Smoltz for day two of practice. Uh watching starting seven on sevens. Quarterback Tuono’s performance. Like I said, touchdown to Waddle to Eric Yusakama. Then a coverage sack. Waddle drop tipped at the line. Then a a touchdown to Waddle. Rocky Sin is in coverage. Then touchdown to Malik Washington. Rocky Sin in coverage. Right with the drop. Good coverage by linebacker Alexander and Zalano. And then PI on Eric Eizakama. Uh quarterback Zack Wilson’s performance. Touchdown to Tariq Black. PI on defending Black. Much better start by by Tua and the offense. Lion’s first team possession is a threeand out. Two run set up a third and one. Then Jordan Brooks scrapes off Kenny Grant uh s stack and blows up Gibbs for a loss. So far, domination. So far from what you’re hearing and even from a Lions beat rider, they got bullied yesterday. There was a lack of energy from Tua’s postp presser. They had a team meeting, come out to second joint practice, and they respond punching back. This is what I needed to see. How are they going to respond to a practice where they looked like chumps? Now, they might not have looked like chumps if you were there watching, but the perception and from what everyone’s saying, everyone’s laughing at us and the media and this, this, and that ain’t good. And now all of a sudden, they come back and punch back. And from what I’m seeing on Twitter from the people who were laughing at us, they ain’t laughing no more, which is good to hear. Dolphins blow up another run as Brit beats Dan Skipper for the stuff. Skipper started at the a fight after the whistle. Dolphins sideline buzzing. Start of practice has been exactly what I was hoping to see so far. Quick scuffle. Like I said, Dolphins might have taken yesterday personal. They were killing it in the red zone. Seven on sevens. That is from another Lions beat rider. Jordan Brookke shoots a gap very nice on third down. Tackle for loss that started a Lions back up and pushes forward for first and second. Pat Paul has a nice uh a really nice rep uh iso rep on Aiden Hutchkins and Tua Toado completion sunk the ball rush sunk into the bull rush and stood him up. Sorry. Um, Travis is very articulate with his words and I’m dyslexic, so keep doing your thing, Travis. Jordan Phillips just took the center for a three-yard ride and tackled the ball carrier with him getting bigger there for the party, too. Love hearing that these Grant and and Jordan Phillips are some big boys. Now, if you’re expecting these guys, even Kenneth Grant to have an Adam Sue or sacks or uh he’s not there to do that his rookie year. Now, will he get sacks? Of course. But he’s there to clear up space for sealer and to take on double teams, and that is what he is doing. Cuz if you don’t put two guys on him, he’s going to throw the guy in front of him off and it’s going to be a problem. Keep doing your thing. Phillips and Grant. Amra St. Brown uh with a touchdown catch against Cornell Armstrong from in close. Too easy. Kenneth Grant now has his stuff on a Gibbs run. Made quick work of a block and swallows up the runner, but Goff goes back to St. Brown on the next play for a couple for a four-yard touchdown. Again, you don’t double him, he’s going to eat up. Uh Jameson Williams uh seen dancing after a mon St. Brown touchdown. Lions score a rushing touchdown in the red zone period with Vaky punching it in against Dolphins backups. Chop is in for the first team reps. Paul throws a DB to the ground on Han run uh around the outside that wins the corner. DB jumps up, throws a punch at Pat who just walks away. Back to the huddle. Ref saw it though. Tack on 15 yards. You know for a fact. And again, we learned that Patrick Paul laughs at people. You know for a fact that little DB got chucked. Absolutely chucked. He probably hit Pat Paul and Pat Paul just laughed at him and went to the huddle like get out of here. Uh Tua hits Estridge for 30 for 30 down the middle. Nice throw on the back shoulder against the trailing defender. Good adjustment by D. Jaylen Wright a good physical run with Paul leading the way. 52 is throwing people around today. Jaylen Phillips doing some running on the sideline Thursday’s joint practice. Team drills beginning with Tua and Waddle connection on a bubble screen for eight yards. Then Lines linebacker uh Enzal Enzelano Enzelano then batted down the pass at the line. Uh D uh Aiden Hutchkins then sacks Tua uh with Wilson behind center. Tariq Black draws a PI from Lines quarterback Tyson Russell on a deep route. Ali Gordon rushes for a short gain. Black draws PI. Washington tackle behind the line. Black just took uh rocket screen 20 yards uh which is good. Two back in right rush for a short gain finds the Estrich for 20 yards. Uh on the Lions cornerback DJ Reed right with a four-y rush. Uh Malik Washington with a sevenyard grab. Patrick Paul just gave Rocky Sin a nice shot. Oh, so it was Rocky Sin who punched him in the face. Not going to lie, the Dolphins are actually responding on offense. They clearly weren’t happy about yesterday’s performance. A lot sharper today. Jared Gra Jar Gra Jared Goff hit Jameson Williams uh deep over the middle for a long touchdown uh about midfield over Fatu Milfanu and Kendall Sheffield. David Montgomery breaks off a big run uh on the right side of the Dolphins D. The Lions are in the air. They’re on the ground. Come on, David. That was from David Fern and he’s using the Dolphins fight song. Um, Goff, I already read that. Jared Goff nearly dropped another dime to Amanra. He just couldn’t hold it in with one hand against Jason Marshall. Uh, Jack Jones in ASB hit pocket. ASB’s hit pocket. I don’t know who ASB is. Comment below if you know. Goff tries uh the corner. ASB tries the same. Brown Doug uh the same one-handed from yesterday but couldn’t make it. hit trail Dodson pops Gibbs first stuff on the next play knocked him down. Zack Wilson with a fast ball to Tariq Black in the back of the end zone. Keeps the toes down. Makes the catch to the ground. Next play, Zack finds Taj for a touchdown. Back to back, back to the D. Dodson sticks a check down for a gain of two. Jaylen Wright had him had a big run behind a pancake from Pharaoh Brown. Two of his next two reps are sacks uh and one complete to Connor. I’m hearing very good things about Farah Brown, especially when it comes to the blocking. More 111 work. Tinarily misses Wadd for a wouldbe 55 yd touchdown. Ball was slightly overthrown, but definitely catchable as it hit Wadd in the hands. Uh, right rushes for that is from Isaiah Smalls if anyone’s wondering. Uh, right rushes for a short gain to a slightly overthrows Eric Yuzukama on a go route. Right. It’s funny that he’s overthrowing these deep passes. Not that it’s a good thing or a bad thing, it’s just funny. Uh, right with a good 10-yard rush, jumped through the hole. Linebacker Alex Anzelano sacks Tua. Tua throws incomplete to unknown target. Eric Zakama drops short hitch as Tua scramles. Don’t do that during the regular season. Tua David Montgomery lowered his head uh running downhill into Mika Fitzpatrick. Both players appear to be all right. Please, for the love of God, Dante Trader fits a low red zone run for stuff. Biggers and Brit on the scene, too. Next play, Hooker has an open receiver and a little boo overshoots it by a lot. Next play, Lions open it up with a walk-in 2-yd touchdown. Cam Smith sheds a block on a kickoff and lays out the drag. The return man down short of the 25 yd line. He had a big hit on defense yesterday. Nice to see him putting his face in the fan. Love hearing that from Cam Smith. Would love to have a redemption from him. Eric Yizukama may have been shaken up in the special team period. Uh Hayden Hooker had line tight end Zack Horton open against Dolphins twos and missed him in the back of the end zone. D then g gets uh gashed from Vaky for a touchdown inside the five. Mika is having a great week. He wins the race to the corner as Ammer St. Brown takes the jet sweep. He cuts it back, but the Calvary arrives to shut it down. Love hearing that. Jamari Gibbs has a run has running room behind Pen Su. Bonito Jones left chasing him. Not what you want in the runy. Not going to be perfect every time. Mike Hilton with a DPI uh draped all over Monra and St. Brown still catches it. Uh on the other field, Tua finds Malik for 15 yards. Play of the day alert. Dolphins wide receiver D. Estridge just went upstairs to grab a touchdown over Lines DB at Brian Branch who I think it actually was DJ Reed. Uh I’m talking straight moss him is what Isaiah Small says. We need to see that video. So if they do if the Miami Dolphins do post it on Twitter, I will post it in a short maybe. But we need to see that. Uh, Zack rips one to Whis for 20 in break uh between two Lions. Aaron Shamp Shamplin, our new running back, takes a wide run, drops his shoulder to power across the goal line. Keon Smith, the key block, fiveyd score. Holy bleep. Deestridge with the highlight touchdown in the corner. I already said that. Brunkill, Keon, and Jackson Carman create a a convoy for Mike Boone on his screen as he walts in three yards out. Red zone 11 works. begins with Tua finding Tanner Connor for seven. Lions Deion defensive uh back Branch Brian Branch makes a nice open field tackle on right. No gain. Linebacker L uh Alexander Anzelano uh pulled up before he sacks Tua. The quarterback found Malik Washington on a hitch. Washington broke a tackle then sprinted 10 yards to the end zone. Then a false start on the offense. Play action from Tua to Washington gets blown up by Branch. Estridge Mosses. See previous tweet. Wilson in. Starts with five yard out to Armstrong. Strong hands from Armstrong, no pun intended, who caught the ball over the defender. Short rush from the running back on shore who. Wilson finds Whis on a slant who took it 15 yards despite the Lions DBs being called for defensive holding. Running back Alexander Sha Champlain rushes two yards. Wilson finds Dolphins running back Mike Boon for a screen. He takes it two yards for the tuty. Keon Smith, Jackson Carman, and Daniel Brunskill. I already read that one. Um, Storm Storm Duck breaks up a deep golf pass to Khif Raymond. Mika Fitzpatrick with a sack on golf. Rare instance of pressure today. Third and 16. Golf connects on Mon St. Brown for the first. Terrell Dodson thought it was coming right to him in the zone and St. Brown comes swooping in over the middle uh on his route. Um Champlain looked good running wide which is good to hear. Final draw uh final play of the drive. Goff has two seconds time for one last throw to the end zone. A Fatato Melano breaks it up against his former team to win uh the simulated end of game scenario. Third and seven for Tua. Tua throws to D Estridge who can’t who can’t onehand it. Situational period now begins. Tua’s throws that incompletion. Right short catches for three yards. Tua pass slightly behind Estridge who couldn’t handle it. Fourth down, incomplete to Tariq Black, who in my opinion drew a defensive pass interference. Defender ran into him. Uh fourth and seven here at the end of the game period for Miami. I already read that situational period begins with golf finding tight end Shane they’re tight end he’s not a Dolphin so I don’t care about learning his name for six yards Dolphins quarterback Mike Hilton then breaks up a pass to Khalif Raymond Goff rushes for four yards for the first down make a sack good blitz from the allp pro safety golf spikes the ball amra stain brown catches a pass over the middle for 20 yard 21 yards for the first down then golf spikes the ball Golf finds J Mo for seven yards. Eatu Milanu almost gets the pick. Good stop by the defense. Way to force the field goal and then they kick the field goal. Um and that is it. That is your practice. Very very very good bounceback. Now obviously there were some aspects where you know we were getting beat by receivers but you know our receivers were beating their defense. Uh, a lot of our first starters weren’t in there like Tyreek Hill, like Caler, like um um other guys. My brain is just all over the place after reading all that stuff. But it was a good bounceback and I’m very happy with the way they bounced back and I’m very happy with hopefully the team meeting kind of put a fire under their butt. I want to see the starters play on Saturday. Mike McDaniel saying the starters might not play Saturday kind of bothers me. I want to see him out there. Um little pressers here. Malik Washington. Pressure starts. McDaniel walks uh by coaching uh Malik to say McD McD Mike McDaniel inspires me to be great. Malik repeats it. Mike very pleased with his efforts. Spirits are high. Uh Aaron Brewer is waiting for his pressure. McDaniel again chimes in. Brewer makes you uh tell them how sick your individual work was today. So, I guess Mike McDaniel was kind of hovering around the presser. Aaron Brewer, it felt like we dominated competing. The energy was there today. Contagious. Uh, Dolphins center Aaron Brewer said he was turned seeing the Estrid sess sensational touchdown, the Moss one. And then Bradley Chub said he felt the team gathered themselves and played Dolphin football today. Says it feels good to have bad taste in your mouth and be able to come out the next day and rectify that. a,000% and I know especially on Twitter um some people don’t didn’t like my attitude towards the way practice went and a lot of people are like are we talking practice you know practice and yes you could take it however you want that it’s just practice and we shouldn’t freak out and we shouldn’t over complicate practice but also some things can and will translate to the regular season. The biggest thing is how will they respond and I think they responded perfectly. I think how they responded today is a perfect assessment of how they should respond in the regular season. You know, your first drive, your first half, you’re not where you want to be. You’re down, let’s say, 237 and you’re like, God, you know, this, this, and that. Respond. Don’t come out in the second half being like, well, there’s no way we can make up this deficit. Blah, blah, blah. Fight, fight, fight. we’ve seen bigger deficits get made up. So, I’m really happy seeing how they came out and fought and especially against a good Lions team. Now, obviously, there were some plays that still weren’t good like the deep passes to Amara St. Brown and Jameus Williams and all that stuff, but I liked hearing the way Kenneth Grant was doing and how Tua came back and was very, you know, good with his throws. No interceptions. That’s the biggest thing. No interceptions from Tua. We had three against the Bears, no against the none against the Lions, which is makes me very happy. He’s very smart with the ball throwing the ball away. Um, but yeah, that’s practice. That’s the end of the joint practice with the Detroit Lions. Like I said, tomorrow they have off, so I will do my preview for Saturday’s game. Saturday’s game starts at 1 p.m. It is not nationally televised, so uh, if you I have NFL Plus, so that’s how I’ll be watching it. I think you could still get it a week free, so check that out. Um, but yeah, comment below what’s your thoughts of this bounceback practice. Are you happy or are you like they should have done more or whatever? Comment below, let me know. I will see you tomorrow with the preview for the preseason game and then we get ready for the last week of training camp which I will be at. So, like usual, stay classy if it’s up.

Alright maybe the NFL can let us play each team twice!
Do we have the worst luck with injuries or is it something to do with strength and conditioning coaching
Glad we looked better.
They didn't want starters last week but they practiced so badly they went out for a whooping 1 drive. There's a lot of work that needs to be done.
Our O Line starters will have to play the full 60 Minutes I guess??! Our depth at Offensive Line is…well…Offensive!
Doug I know you feel better but come on why do you need a meeting and all this dumb stuff to get motivated you should already know what time it is when you step on the field
It’s good to hear Paul is throwing people out the club 💪🏿😂
McDaniel is not a leader of men. Brilliant offensive mind however, that’s irrelevant if the players don’t fear and/or respect you. That’s why the team has consistently half-assed during practice(s) during his tenure.
You all know that they are traveling, and that takes a toll.
4:35 personally I’m fine with most of the first team offense not playing on Saturday or even the rest of the preseason. I realize we all want to watch our starters because every fall we are itching for football but the Dolphins biggest downfall the last few years has been injuries and the best way to avoid injuries so to rest our starters every chance we get.
If Zach Wilson can play like that as a backup, then we would have no worries.
Let’s not forget this team has been on the road for two weeks. Of course they are going to have bad days doing that.
Let's go Dolphins 🐬 305
If tua o line would be great this year tua will play great tua throws dots when there isn’t no defense line pressure
Team meeting in pre season? 😂
What is Walker doing ?
I mean what is Waller doing?
Great takes!
Lack of energy is a coaching problem. Mike McDaniel needs to LEAD.
Oh wow the dolphins actually played their variety team and competed all the fans that was winning need to dismiss them selves
When Williams & hit us with big plays are we prepared to hit back with our WR.
Dbs sound horrible
Sounds like the lions did great
I saw a video on lions social media that showed Jack jones getting torched Repeatedly 😢 we’re really screwed this year huh
Sounds bad, did not sound like they dominated anything!
Lots of you, including these YouTube content creators, are sooo predictably emotional when it comes to this team. Maybe its because I'm a 62-year old Dolphin fan and learned that rarely, are things as bad or as good as they seem. Yet, many of you were willing to cancel the season because of one bad practice, not knowing if the team was trying new concepts, new alignments, new personnel groupings, etc… My hope is that Douglie, Poupart, and others learn to not be so reactionary when it comes to this team and this season. Its neither heaven or hell…it's usually somewhere in between
I love the Patrick Paul Pick – In accounting we call those PPP loans. He owned him!
I hate to say it but I am a homer, even though I live in DC. I want the starters. We need to tell the league we are here!
Tua overthrowing deep passes? Impossible. The haters and idiots on here say he has a noodle arm.
How is the punter competition going? I personally want Stonehouse to win the job
I guess Doug did better in Math on the SATs
From what you're reading it sounds like we started off good and then started getting our butts kicked again in the second half of the day
You have to realize season based on one practice let it play out great practice fins whoop whoop go fon
Way to go Miami !!!!’❤❤❤❤
More injuries now per team then when football was violent. Teams seemed to have less injuries back then.

Fucken aye, this is not how winning teams start their season. Dolphins depression starting before the season is wild. Prediction: McDaniel will be fired before the end of the season.
Can't keep getting "punched in the mouth" all season waiting for a reaction.
Love hearing how the team responded after Tua called them out
Let me tell U this. If camp was going smoothly and nothing looked out of place in the season flaws would be exposed before we can address them properly. The whole point of these practices is for mistakes to happen and us to show we can adjust to them, this has been a very good preseason as far as I'm concerned.
Should have signed this O-lineman first before signing Germain Ifetti, just saying.
I think Hill is a good player who has a unique skillset. But I think the WR room and leadership core is better off with Waddle in charge. The guy is a clear difference maker, and I think making Hill the focus of the offense is holding Waddle back.
I'm fine with the Dolphins keeping Hill, because he's still a useful asset for McDaniel. But in the long term, I think the team will be in a better place when he moves on, be it this year, next year, or whenever.
Where is our corner back signing???
Thank you Doug really appreciate all that your doing for us Dolphin fans.
Have a great and safe night Douglie.
Fins Up
I'll never understand the mindset of this team. Why do we have to "bounce back"? Why can't we set a strong pace from the start?
Tuanon when he has a bad practice. "Its only practice, it doesn't mean anything. Tuanon when he has a good practice, "Tua is the best, we are winning the Superbowl". 🙄
We already have too many injuries can’t afford anymore play the young guys to see what they have no starters please
