What’s going on, guys? This is Costy with Pick Dogs. We’re here with the Yang Angle and the man, the myth, the legend, Jay Yang himself. What’s going on? Hey, Costi. Uh, yeah, you know, we are winning baseball games. So, let’s win some more with the Yang Angle games today. There you have it, guys. Let’s get right to the pick and then if you guys hang around after the pick prediction and the strategy, um we will let you know what we’re actually doing for the football season for the Yang angle. It’s very exciting and cannot wait to start breaking down NFL. But before NFL stole a lot of baseball, we’ve been on an absolute heater since the All-Star break. Ever since you made the adjustments, Jay, in your system, it’s been lights out. I’m not anticipating that we’re going to keep winning at this rate, but it feels good that when you make the adjustments, they’re working, right? Yeah. I mean, uh, we had down days up, I think a couple days ago, but we bounce back. I’m not tweaking my system yet. So, let’s, uh, you know, have some more winning days, I guess. Yeah. Don’t do anything. Whatever you’re doing, you’re doing a great job. So, let’s just keep doing it. Whether it’s totals, sides, underdogs, it has been just hitting on the right cylinders and basically on all cylinders. And again, not getting exciting, not chest pounding that we’re winning. But it does feel good that when we did talk about that we’re going to make changes to the system, those changes were made and it has worked perfectly as anticipated. So, let’s do the breakdown. Philly and Washington, we have Wheeler and Gore on the mound. The overunder is eight. Philly is a 165 favorite on the road. So why don’t you give everybody the prediction and Yangle behind it? Yes. Philly versus Washington, Wheeler versus Gore. So I like under here. Wheeler has been in top form. Obviously the missing bats and working deep into games while Gore strikeout stuff and then improved command give him the tools to match zeros early. Uh both lineups could struggle and with two quality pitchers setting the tone plus capable late inning relief on both sides. I think this shapes up a tight lowcoring matchup. So I want to take under on this matchup. Got it guys. Take the under. Make sure the pitchers are always listed. Now, Gore has had exceptional record and and really his just his stuff has just worked really well um against this Phillies road against this Phillies lineup. What do you see in him that just makes him consistently be a good pitcher against this Phillies team? Yeah, he has shown us some struggles, but I think he bounced back last match up. So, I think there’s reasons to believe Gore can continue to dominate. Uh the Gore dominated six innings, uh three hits, no runs, and 10Ks versus San Francisco. His fast for slider combination can generate whips uh versus Philly’s middle of the order offense, which has a higher K rate versus lefties. Uh uh reduce walk late uh rate. Uh this season limits free passes, forcing Phillies lineup to earn their way to bases. Um, elevated fast balls can jam righties. Uh, while breaking balls can keep Shawar or Harper from getting extension. Uh, when he’s ahead in counts, he can induce weak grounder ground balls to escape innings without damages. So, I, you know, there there are reasons to believe Gore can continue to dominate at least on this matchups. I’m taking under and hope this helps. Well, there you have it, guys. take the under in the Phillies Nationals lineup. I mean, sorry, the matchup. Take the under eight runs with Gore and Wheeler on the mound.
