  1. Good interview with Greupner on Ben and Woods.

1 – king should be back when IL stint over, some knee inflammation that they just wanted to make sure calms down.

2 – they are ahead on revenue they were expecting this season and they are putting it back into the teams payroll for this year and beyond.

3 – potential for new tv revenue that he couldn’t get into specifics but i assume it’s from those deals mlb is negotiating.

  2. Tatis and Manny playing at dodger stadium. I expect this to be the place where Nando gets his power back and manny keeps on his terrific season

  3. Golden opportunity for Randy to prove that he belongs here for the stretch run

  4. So hyped up for tonight, we’re actually getting a fresh pizza for Friday night dinner and baseball, not just frozen lol.

  5. My cousin’s a huge Dodgers fan and has been since the 70s. We have a good relationship and respectful ball talk. Never seen him more down on the team in the “rivalry” era.

  6. I’m keeping expectations in check. I’m just hoping Randy keeps it to 4 runs or fewer to give us a chance. Offense has been on fire the past few weeks so I expect that to continue.

  8. Fished this out from a comment section on a Dodgers beat writer’s piece in the Athletic:

    > The Padres top six relievers have had two full days of rest. They can each go at least two of the three games against the Dodgers. That’s twelve innings.
Some can go more than an inning a game, so let’s call it fifteen innings.

    > That means the Padre bullpen, the best in baseball, can cover 15 of the 27 innings of the three games. That leaves four innings a game for the starters.

    > That’s what a strong bullpen can do for you, if needed.

  9. I know he was recalled, but do we know if Randy is actually starting this game? Might we see a David Morgan opener for 1+ before seeing Randy?

  10. The Dodgers haven’t had much of a problem scoring runs during their slump. I predict that they will score at least 4 runs in each of the remaining 6 games against us. It’s on our offense to beat up their struggling pitching. Take advantage of their bullpen and score early, need to go at least 3-3 during this stretch LFGSD!

  11. They still do the extra roster spot in September? Would be nice to get campy or wade on the roster. Or a bullpen arm

  12. Just saw that Diaz hits Kershaw decently well for a small sample size (1.171 OPS with a homer in 15 ABs). Do we think he’ll get the start today over Fermin, who’s never faced him before?

  13. Do we know who the ump is for tonight?

Randy likes to nibble so a good ump tonight would be much appreciated
