Is this the Oilers biggest strength?
The Emonson owners, a lot of their success comes from, you know, that they’ve got good puck moving defenseman. It’s been something that that started that they they wanted to address it. You’re either transporting the puck or you’re moving the puck from your back end. And with Echome, Walman, Nurse, and Bushard together, that’s a big advantage. Now, the thing is the four of them really have never played together healthy. We know Ekholm came back for the for the Stanley Cup final, but I I don’t think he was, you know, 100% healthy at that point. Uh Jake Walman played 15 regular season games uh with the orders after being acquired. He was in at home uh was out at different times together. So I haven’t played a bunch with all four of them in the lineup together. So I’m kind of curious to see how that will play out next season. I think when you’ve got Dmen who can move the puck up. Like think about this. The Emmonsoners at even strength. Bousard was sixth in the NHL. Wman’s 22nd. Nurse was 23rd. Echol was 41st.
