I can't find any information about this logo they have been using on social media. What is going on with that? I think it's terrible, personally.

    They’re not changing the logo. Looks like it was for the schedule release.

    They’ve changed the profile picture a few times this offseason

  4. Whoever runs the social media team likes playing around with different logos. They’re just having fun with it. 

  6. Pretty sure this is supposed to be that manga/anime style that just plays in with the schedule release the hornets did. Unlikely it’s part of the long-term branding in any way.

  7. I like most of it: the playful chARLoTTe font, the gradient colors that don’t end up being metallic looking. I can see this being used for one of those 90’s cartoon nights, some half-time entertainment, or some youth camp/workshop merch.

    Only thing I don’t like about it are the little hornets; they’re too realistically looking.

  11. The Charlotte font is too circus like to be a serious logo for a team wanting to be taken seriously (when they start winning of course)

  12. My guess is it’s not just for the schedule reveal, but also will tie into this years City edition
