Philadelphia Eagles Study: WR Jahan Dotson MAKES the O UNF*CKWITTABLE! | Killing Camp!

Yo, all my fellow Eagles brothers and sisters, is lining up just like your boy Murf said it would. You know, I have a vested interest in my man Jan Dawson as a Penn State fan. Jan Dawson’s one of the greatest Penn State wide receivers of all time. God captivated the imagination at Penn State with some of the best route running in hands. You’ll see. That’s why I think it is imperative that the Eagles give this dude a shot to show exactly who he is. And it’s looking like that’s happening right now. We’ll go through it real quickly here. Right. Jan Dawson showing a significant improvement in Philadelphia Eagles training camp this year. Being recognized for his improved route running. What? Yeah, that’s definitely some AI right there. This man was already one of the best route runners in the league. That’s Jan Dawson. That’s what he does. All right. and maturity within the offense. Report indicates that he’s been building chemistry with quarterback Jaylen Herz and is becoming a more versatile player capable of lining up in various positions. This has led to him being considered one of the most improved players on the team. And Patulo is bagging that up. All kinds of people are bagging that up. You can see it. But this is what I don’t understand what people see in a Jan Dawson. Some of the best hands of all time. I’m telling you, that man can catch. And then we’re talking about the route running. I mean, look at this sharp slant right here. This is a thing of beauty. And that bingo game. Look at this. Jock. Change of direction on him and then accelerate. His 0 to 60 is nasty. You know, his 60 to 100 is nasty as well. He’s just a tough dude to deal with. And I will tell you this, right? This is why he looks good in certain games like this. He is an outside receiver with an outside receiver skill set. Matter of fact, let’s let’s zoom in on this right quick. Look at this drawing right here. Look at him set the table. Not much dancing going on. You see how he gets right to it, right? It’s a slight bit of dancing going on, right? A slight bit of dancing going on. He’s not getting super jingle footed with it. Um, but you can see him vary the rhythm on this, right? He pretty much comes to balance if anything, right? Comes to balance, widens it out. Look at my man right here. He’s really getting him to sell like this could be a fade route. He shoots that bad boy almost perfectly with a cell no tail. You can see the upper body movement pretty quiet right there. Sticks that foot in the ground and look at that Owl necked the man. Sit that man’s head round like an owl. The man facing the wrong direction and And your boy look at this. Temple owl is neck right and look at this. You look at the gather phase right here through the transition. Watch how he chops it out of this. Right. Teach tape for you cats out there playing ball. Right. 25 and older. Right. We only do 25 and up here on top building channel. You know what I mean? So teach tape for people who playing right there who needs to work like Jan Dawson. Come out of this transition. Look at him take the smaller steps here to be able to gather, right? Gather. Get that Dr. Fouchy style separation back 2021 out this draw. And then look at that right here. He surprised himself, right? Normally he would pluck this out of the air, but he’s got so much room and so much cushion. He surprised himself. He probably thought the dude would be on him and he need to kind of protect the pass, but he didn’t. Right. He got damn near 7 ft of separation and look at that 0 to 60 acceleration. Able to get himself an extra damn near 10 yards. Dude, that’s a scary skill set. I’m tell here to tell you he’s an outside receiver. He always shines like this. Remember in that game where I believe maybe it was Devonte Smith and AJ Brown were both out and he got to play on the outside. Remember how good he did in that game? That’s just because he’s not being smothered. You have a skill set like this, you put it on the inside, you’re smothering his work. That’s just it, right? If you’re a long range puncher or you have a long range extended jab as a boxer, you’re not going to fight on the inside because you can’t get to that. He has this type of that’s in his wheelhouse and you’re playing in a little bit more traffic on the inside and he’s unable to get to like this more times than not. But if you give him that amount of space right there, there’s not too many people who can who can check John Dawson straight up right there. That is cold. I’m not here to fraud you. For real. For real. Even on this other catch, he was an outside receiver. He’s running an out route. Now, you can see on this one, his ability to think the game through. This one didn’t didn’t require a sharp angle, right? You can see him right here. But even with that being said, running a guy off, right? Kind of rounding this off, he’s still going to run it flat down. You see when he whips that head around, right? Then he starts to run flat down almost cutting down on time and air for the ball there. Same deal right here. Ball a little bit behind him right here, but he’s able to catch that I’m telling you, he can catch 25 different ways. The only man who needs no hands to catch. Let that sink in, right? I’m telling you, man. Jan Dawson, what I would like to see happen is him play on the outside a little bit more. Obviously, this is Devonte Smith and AJ Brown’s team. uh he has to do his work on the inside which doesn’t lend well for production for the Philadelphia Eagles. Now Jan Dawson more talented than Quz Watkins, more talented than even a laminated Zakius, but my man Jaylen Herz doesn’t often get to his tertiary read, right? Because you know what I mean? We have a top flight tight end as well who can usually be the tertiary read in the progression. Not to mention he has his own tertiary read. It’s called his legs. If you have that type of gift that that Jaylen Herz does have, uh, you would oftent times not go for the higher percentage play, which would be just getting five to 10 yards with his legs, uh, then getting to your tertiary read. So, I don’t know how much this will translate on the field far stats with Jan Dawson goes, but when he does get his opportunity, I expect him to seize it. All right. Uh, we know now that if he’s able to get a little bit more time on the outside, he’s going to do his Jan Dawson thing. So, that’s the only thing that I’m saying there, man. rotate those guys in. Put Devonte Smith in the slot sometimes more often. Uh same deal with AJ Brown. Just they allow Jan Dawson to actually truly be moved around uh in the rotation. All right, that being said, much love to everybody out there, all my top bidding villains, man. Make sure you tap in with your boy. Support quality content when you see it as well. Much love to everybody out there, baby. Salute. What more can I say? Top billing.

  1. I’m trying to see how many wr we keep, I know it’s gon be five but I’m thinking even maybe 6??
Brown , Smith, Dotson , Wilson , Cooper , maybe A Smith takes that 6th spot ? Or they move him what you thinks !

  2. You were 1000% right about Ringo and his Stiff hips.
That is affecting him at the CB2 spot.
You had been saying that for the last 3 yrs.
    Kudos to you.

  3. Jahan fixing to outplay his 4th year rookie contract. I truly believe he will get a paid 12-16 mil to be a 2nd or 1st option on a team like the Pats

  4. Dotson, and Slim Reaper’s route running in going make Hurts look like Bulls eye. He still has always Open and DG … not even Thinking about Saquon. Love being an Eagles fan

  5. What would be your prediction for Dotson’s receiving yards if he was utilized to the full extent a WR3 can be in this offense? I’m going 750

  6. You're absolutely right about Dotson. He's a former 1st-round pick for a reason. I personally think this is his last year with us, unfortunately. He's up for a new contract, and unless he's chasing more rings, he's going for the big money. The Eagles aren't gonna pay him his worth, especially being that he's a #3 on our team.

  7. I have a feeling a lot of teams are going to be super-focused on Barkley. I think it’s going to be overwhelming for ops to have to have to worry about JDot if Jalen goes to him more this season (looks like they’re on the same page). It’ll only make everyone else better. I’m thinking Jalen will have his best season, but he’s got to use Dot more imho. I love Jahan…pause.
    🦅🏆🏆🦅
I believe your boy Victorino was at the Phils game the other night, TB.

  8. Murph in the Open Practice Jihaad Campbell grabbed Cam Jurgens by the shoulder pads and threw him like a bouncer throwing a drunk out of the bar, I thought you would have commented on this.

  9. I'll never forget when the Eagles got Dotson, he had a presser with the media. They asked a question of him & he replied 'I think folks forget I was a 1st rd pick'. I said to myself, alright. Tell them! He didn't get as much attention last year. I hope they give him more chances this year. I like the subtle hesitation in the route running. 'Put em to sleep.' GO EAGLES!!

  10. Agreed…. could we pump the brakes on Cooper taking his job this season tho…

I was excited when Dot came to the birds and him showing out during the SB run didn't surprise me.

If they sit #11 wk 1 with the bad hammy, I'm good with Smitty and Dot holding it down
