The Washington Commanders Just Got GREAT News.Terry Mclaurin Comments From Kliff

Yo, what is up guys? This is Pedro here and in today’s video we have some good news. Jordan McGee was back at practice today. Cliff Kingsbury talked. We’re going to talk about that and some other news as well. If you guys are new, make sure to subscribe, hit that like button and that notification bell as well. All those things are free. It really does help out a ton. And comment down below done when you guys do that. Again, would really appreciate it. So, it’s a lot of stuff that happened today with the commanders. I mean, you got some good news with Jordan McGee. We’re going to talk about that. And the Cliff Kingsbury press conference, you know, I didn’t watch it live or anything, but a lot of interesting comments for sure there. And then we got some practice recapping that we need to do as well. So, Jordan McGee back out at practice in pads. Another good sign. He was there for the walkthrough yesterday. So, backtoback days doing a little bit is good versus in the past, you know, he wasn’t out there. So that that’s good news and you know it just seen let’s see the progression. I doubt he plays on Monday, but again, it is Monday, so you know, you have more time versus, all right, it’s, you know, Saturday, but at this point, we’re already at Friday, so you have Friday to Saturday, Saturday to Sunday. You got three days. So, you don’t have a lot of time for him to get back. And I doubt that, you know, he’s been out what, twoish weeks. You don’t want to have him rush back after only a couple practices and reinjure himself. But at the same time, Jordan McGin has to play football. He has not played a lot of football. Last year, you know, in the offseason, he was doing some good things, then was out for a while, and that really hurts in rookie development when you miss some time. Guys just aren’t able to get off to a fast start when they get hurt, you know, i.e., you know, Johnny Newton last year who was hurt and it took him a little bit of a while to, you know, get some things going. So, got hurt last year in the off season and then during the regular season, too again. And this off season. It’s just it’s it’s starting to become a theme. It happens once, it happens twice. All right. But then once it starts happening like three, four times in like a yearish span cuz it’s been a year and some change since they drafted him or since he started, you know, doing some offseason activities last year. And the fact he’s been hurt this much is concerning. he, you know, still can be a good player, but that’s definitely something to watch out for and is something that is a big concern at this point with him is these injuries. They’re not like major injuries so far. Knock on wood. You know, he doesn’t get any ma major injuries, but you know, he’s missing a lot of, you know, time out there to develop and get better. And yeah, the fact he’s out there is good. And, you know, we’ll see if he plays this week. I doubt it. And you know, even if you consider him a guy that maybe you wouldn’t play in this in the preseason third game, which that’s I don’t think Jordan McGee is at that level yet. I think you got to play him regardless. And I would play him, you know, maybe you don’t want to totally rush him back, but at that point hopefully is good. I would play him at least a half. See what you can get cuz this linebacking core is good, right? You got Bobby Wagner, you got Frankie Louvu, but it’s very topheavy. You don’t have that depth. You don’t. You got K Madrono who’s cool. He’s fine, but he’s a rookie. Can’t rely on him. And then you got Jordan McGee. You just cut Dom Hampton. So you don’t have a lot of guys out there besides, you know, the main two guys. So you would like some guys to develop. And you know, Jordan McGee, I would love for him to be a star, but let’s just like become a good backup. And that’s a win right now for where the commanders are at because they don’t have a lot of depth. Uh they signed Duke Riley. He’s, you know, apparently had a good practice the first practice a day or two ago, but they need some more depth there. And Jordan McGee, you know, secondyear guy, fifth round pick out of Temple. It’s his time to shine and he’s got to play better or not play better. He’s just got to stay healthy. And, you know, it’s it’s hard because, you know, that’s usually not something that you can really control too much. you know, sometimes you can with little stuff, but for the most part, it’s not something that, you know, is easily, you know, you can change. So, uh, let’s go into some other things from practice today. JaKoRi had a nice catch on a deep crosser for a big gain. So, our guy Jakoy Brooks, he he’s putting together some more, you know, good practices and he had a really good preseason game and he helped himself there. He had a really good start to camp and then kind of tailed off and then re, you know, had a little bit of a resurgence in the last, you know, week or so with the preeason and some other performances and now he’s balling out. So, let’s see what he can do in this week’s preseason game on Monday. It’s a big game for him. It’s a big game for the other guys, too. For, you know, because Jakoy Brooks is trending in the right direction, but when someone’s trending in the right direction, that’s not good for some other guys. That means they’re maybe they’re not how they’ve been playing is trending in a wrong direction, but their chances of making the roster is going down if JaKoy Brooks keeps balling out. So guys need to step up. You know, Jaylen Lane and Luke McCaffy, they’re pretty safe in terms of making the roster, but would like to see them ball out a little bit more. Then you got other guys, KJ Osborne, Michael Gallup, uh Michael I was going to say Michael Strachin, but he just got, you know, released. But there’s other guys in there as well. Like I said, Chris Moore, you know that there’s there’s some guys competing for some roster spots there. But if you’re, you know, Jacobe Jones, if you’re not going to, you know, make some big plays, it’s, you know, it’s got to be in practice, but then in the preseason matters even more because you’re doing it against another team, you’re doing it in a game. Some, you know, some players are more practice players. We’ve seen that in the past. Some guys, you know, when the when the games come, you know, they put on their big boy pants. So, um, you know, we’ve seen players like that before. Some examples I see Taylor Hineki was a way better, you know, in-game player. I think the Shaer Everett was a, you know, a better in-game player than practice cuz, you know, there was a lot of times where, you know, he just never got PT. You know, not saying that Deser Everett was ever like a stud, but he’s he was an NFL he was an NFL player and at, you know, times he just wasn’t getting any PT because they didn’t know he could play. But then he started playing. He had a couple, you know, decent seasons for the Commanders. So, you know, a little bit of a pull there, but he’s a guy that definitely was a better, you know, regular season or, you know, in-game player than in practice. All right. Yapping a lot there. Let’s go into some other things. So, Cliff Kingsbury, he talked today. Shout out Ben Stanick here for the quote. And he was talking about the absences that some guys have had during practice. and he said, “We’re kind of at a point where we need to start getting those guys when they’re available out there and jelling and see what we are.” And he’s right. You, and we’ll talk about in a second, but you got your left guard, you got your right guard, you got two outside receivers. They’re all out. That’s four out of your 11 guys that are out that aren’t out there. That’s not good. And, you know, it’s hard to gel. And then also, you know, those are some of your best players. Those are starters for a reason. So, you know, it makes the offense look worse. I mean, we’ve heard from a lot of beat reporters. The theme of the last week has been the commander offense has been struggling. So, it’s not good, but it’s somewhat not expected, but you know, you’re not super, you know, super surprised with, you know, Terry being out and then Noah Brown these last couple weeks being out too. Like, it’s not just Terry being out, but then you add Noah Brown, that’s when it really becomes an issue because he’s really your only other outside option. like Debo’s not an outside guy. He’s a slot guy. Jaylen Lane is a slot guy. Luke just, you know, he hasn’t really shown much and you know, he can play outside, but he’s a sl, you know, he can play in the slot, too. So, you know, when that starts to happen, it’s not good. And some people are saying, you know, that Cliff is kind of calling him calling Terry out. Some people, you know, and saying that he needs to be back there. Some people are saying that he’s calling out Adam Peters, saying like get a deal done, whatever. I mean, I’m tired of reading into these things too much. And just as I say that, watch I, you know, I’m gonna post a video tomorrow about Terry something he said or something like that. I don’t know. Here’s the full or another quote, I think, or he was asked about how the offense is coming together there. I think that’s a work in progress. There’s no doubt. I think until we get some of those other pieces back, we’re going to know uh exactly what we are. when you don’t have your projected top two receivers and you know the two guards is not going to give you really a chance to gel or really build that relationship until you get everybody else on the grass. So that’s something we have to get over the next 3 weeks. So that was what he had to say and you know it does make sense and yeah we’re just going to have to wait and see with Terry and I understand Terry’s frustration but at some point you got to you got to you know come back and you know I know you want your money but if you miss the season you’re not going to get your money. You’re not going to get your money this year and you might not get your money in general. Hold outs don’t work. It doesn’t like in season holdouts they don’t work. It’s very rarely. I mean, like Le’Veon Bell, look at what happened to him. And I know everyone always talks about that. Sat out, missed a full season. So, you know, not only does he miss that money for the season, but all that those stats and maybe he would have won something. And, you know, teams look at you a little bit differently. And I know he still got paid by the Jets, I believe. I know it was between like the Jets and the Ravens, but then he chose the Jets. He got paid there. Just didn’t do well. Who knows if it was because of that one season off, but you know, you’re hurting your team and you’re hurting yourself, too. I mean, you know, you can condition all you want, but you know, you need those reps with the team. And I’ve said that, you know, for the last month or so, like I know people were like I think John Kai was like, “Oh, it’s not a big deal that he’s missing these reps.” Well, no, it is because you need to get those with your quarterback. It’s not that big of a deal because, you know, Terry and Jaden have kind of gotten reps together. But it’s the offense as a whole. You know, Terry hasn’t played with Debo Samuel. He’s they’re not used to, you know, playing with each other, how each other, you know, how the other person runs their route specifically. and you know, you know, offensive line like it just there’s a lot of new pieces on this team and you just want to have those reps know each other as you know well as possible and not having them out there I do think makes a difference. Maybe, you know, I’m overreacting there, but it, you know, I think it does make a difference and it would be good to have him back. And, you know, just cuz he’s back doesn’t mean the commanders aren’t going to still push for a deal and get a deal done. And you know, if anything, it can make him less frustrated cuz I was seeing some twe I think it was Kim or someone was saying that like they’re getting to that point where it might just be like a take it or leave it offer because, you know, he’s still holding out. Well, maybe if he doesn’t hold out it keeps those conversations going a little bit more and maybe it’s like a gesture, you know, a good faith gesture, right, by Terry and his side. And then the, you know, and then Adam Peters and company, you know, they feel a little bit better and they’re all right, we’ll we’ll we’ll continue to work on this. I don’t know. I I understand Terry’s side, too. But it is getting frustrating that we’re, you know, in the middle of August right now, and we haven’t heard anything about any optimism or anything like that. But who knows? A lot can change. It’s just one conversation, one phone call that can change everything in terms of Terry and Adam Peters and company Buddy Baker getting on the same page. So, that is it for today’s video. Just want to give you guys an update. Good news on Jordan McGee. Terry stuff, it’s not bad or good news. It’s the same stuff. And yeah, thanks for watching. Hope you guys enjoyed. Peace.

  1. There are a lot of guys on their squad that will need to step up this season if their going to go anywhere.
I'm tired of seeing the few guys like Luvu, Wagner, Ertz and a very short list of others who always
stand out and really make an impact on the offense and defense. I know a lot of guys in that first preseason
game were rookies but damn they look horrible. The Patriots were starting a lot of rookies too.

  2. Dude I'm tired of Terry and his DIVA approach ,everyone want a well oiled football team ,no one gonna pay Terry this out of this world money and he's distracting our football team ,he has no leverage unless he wants to retire ,that's all Terry can do OK, Terry is good but he isn't Great he isn't Artmonk,Gary Clark,or Ricky Sanders. Terry fooled everyone with the last minute diva attitude ,Adam Peter's isn't like the last administration, you aren't gonna get Albert Haynesworth money to lay down on the ground lol Jayden Daniel's has Jaylin Lane and Deebo ,Jayden carried B-Rob lol so he'll figure it out with Cliff ,that's why cliff is here ,to tap into his genius mind and prepare the next man up,Terry didn't have 20 TDs or nothing he did the minimum, it was Jayden who wowed the masses lol carrying the run game and watching guys fumble and drop passes lol that's why those certain wide outs aren't here!!
