Philadelphia Phillies vs Washington Nationals – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | August 15, 2025 MLB Season
Great. Keep it down. No free 90s. That’s the biggest thing. Only like what, six walks the last seven games for the Phillies. And we’re underway on time up the middle. And that one into the outfield for Trey Turner. Leads the National League in hits. That’s number 141. Turner on the move. And finally Adam’s not unable to get a handle on it. And for Trey number 27, I heard two sounds that went back to the screen. Yeah, it was the mid of Riley and then also of Doug Edings. Just like that, a runner at third base. Harper’s going to reach out and put the Phillies on top. Schwarber reads it. Easy first to third for him. Harper going for two. He’s in there. Ball gets away. Schwarber coming home. And it’s a two-run swing down and in. By far best off speed pitch of the night. And that’s swing and a miss. That’s a great job after it was bases loaded, one out. Two runs already in. It took a while, but McKenzie limits 2-2. Runner on the move. And that ball is heading for the gap. It took James’s second to find it. He’s going to come roaring around third. Abrams into second. And the Nats are on the board after your guy went out there through 37. Josh Bell high in the air, left center. Bader right that little cutout. James Wood, I rather CJ Abrams identifying the ball would be caught and he gets to third on that first out. Fast ball overpowered him into a popup. Harper will yield to Sosa. And for the Phillies, a big second out. Garcia off the end of the bat a bit and it goes slicing back to Weston Wilson, but the Nats will answer to a certain extent. We’re turning in between stars. beauty. Oh, strike three call. Three in a row. Wilson thought he had walked. Henry striking him out for that first career save last night. This one to right. He’s going to chase Dylan Cruz back. He got a great jump enabling him to cruise, you might say. Nasty breaking ball. Well, he’s got the strikeout touch suddenly. Zack Wheeler will throw 21 pitches in that first inning. And that’s a reach for Bryce Harper on the first pitch. Fights his way into a swing backand turn and he couldn’t get it out of his glove or a handle on it and that will make you pay. Cruz with another pett with speed put pressure on everybody. Everybody. That’s a knock that Harper couldn’t quite reach. Cruz they’re going to send him. Castiano’s throw is in time. And it wasn’t that close at home. His first baseman was where Bryce Harper was. He froze on that one. I think that stop I don’t know. I I just feel like when he hesitated because Bryce dove after that 2-2 nasty breaking ball for the strikeout. Zack Wheeler’s first K happens at the end of the second. Kenzie, he’ll spike him. Should be to Marcy knew he had time. Abrams got it to him for the Nets. Number 95 on the year. And now Abrams. Well, I mentioned Zack Wheeler nats some looks early, but now three Ks in a row. Josh Bell scorches it. Nice backhand pickup by Bryce Harper. wouldn’t be. So, middle innings coming up. Another good battle tonight like last night. Both times got smoked. Hassel rather ly to right got some carry. See you later with a good catch in the first row and Dalen’s third of the year. Ties it up. Off speed. Turner stayed back and hit it hard to left. Five hits in this series for Trey Turner. [Applause] Stutter step and then he goes. No chance for Riley Adams. Trey Turner two tonight. 28 on the year. Two two to Schwarber. He will sky one to left to his right. Kaylin live. Second out. Second time Bryce goes first pitch against Gore. and he’ll make an out for the second time. McKenzie Gore on his game halfway through. 2-2 with the Fighting Phills. Here’s Hassel swinging a miss standing up into second base is Riley Adams and Wood sending a sliding Sosa to his right with a good play. And Adams to third on the second out. 32 and he’s going to bring it around to get the called third strike. Numbers five and six. Quite a battle going to the sixth. There’s a sword downstairs. Number six high in the air off the bat of Castanos. Lights have taken full effect here. Hessle sees it and that’s nice. Let’s go. Well, get a run or two for this guy. Make him the pitcher of record right now. Tidy 316 RA over to Sosa from Bell six gets under one deep to left center. Bader back and about three or four feet short from another one. I would have told wait up. I got to do some things. Whitey used to tell his pitchers if you’re going to be terrible be fast. One, two, three in the bottom of the six. Good job. Off speed. He held it. Did the ball hit the ground? It did not. Riley Adams catching two walks after the strike out. Trey Turner next. And this one popped up on the infield. pitcher gets out of dodge. Josh Bell right near the base of the mounds position against righties, lefties. Well, I didn’t say it. Didn’t jinx it. Two walks get it to Schwarber in the seventh and he hits one a DC mile into the breaking ball and Bryce hammers one to straightaway center. [Applause] his 19th. This one going a long distance to center, but Hassel was there. This one hanging up in the air out toward the gap. Plenty of time for Bader to get there. Two hopper Trey Turner’s got to be quick. Jammed and Trey Turner back to get it. Now the Nad still only had that Lyall homer since way back in the second. Comebacker and he’s got it. Hear that pop into his glove way up here. He had that with ease, too, which is unbelievable. You think about it. Big breaking ball for the strikeout. This one hanging up for the aforementioned outstanding center fielder. Jammed. It’s well done by Puland. The Nats will have 456 to Young Garcia and Lyall needing at least a four spot. Breaking ball off the pitcher and Paul D Young will keep his hitting streak alive as it ricochets way over by the dugout. That is not good. Great bath for Paul D. Young that hit on the outside part of the ankle. That ball’s well hit and it’s twisting away from Marsh into the left field corner. Paul D. Young to third. Here we go. The Nats have second and third. Nobody out. and downstairs for a huge first out right at the shortstop. Turner. Runners retreat. Two down and watch your knuckles. Two on. Adams drives it to right and it’s right at Costanos. So, the Phillies will get home runs by Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper backto back in the top of the seventh and make it hold up. I’m sure they’re concerned about their closure.

Is Duran injured? I see he left the game
Why did Rob have Duran in, it wasn’t a save situation. He should have had Robertson in there and if he gave up a run or 2 then he brings him in. Rob has been making some terrible decisions, he may have just cost the Phils season.
Nice bounce-back win for the Phillies to snap the slump. They have reached the BIG 7-0
Ever wish you could combine your love for your Washington Nationals with the timeless hits of Ja Rule and Ashanti?! Who doesn't, right?
WE ARE CONCERNED 😟
$600 and it doesn't have built in GPS?
