We got game one of this series between the Angels and the Athletics going down on Friday. Both these teams will have Thursday off. You know, the Angels just swept the Dodgers once again. I don’t know how they keep doing it. Um, they have swept the Dodgers twice this season and I believe that those are I believe this will be the last time they they play the Dodgers. So, that’ll be a season sweep for the Angels. I mean, what the hell? That is crazy. I’m curious for the Angels. You know, after sweeping the Dodgers again, is this a series maybe they come out a little bit sleepy? That’s what worries me a little bit. You know, we always talk about the let down spot in college football after a big game or in in the NBA after a prime time game. Do I put as much stock into it in in the MLB? No. But you got to admit or you got to think about it. It has to be in the back of your mind after a big series like that. Now they’re going into Sacramento. it could be a little bit of a sleepy spot for the Angels. Um so even though the Angels are rolling into mo with momentum in this game, it’s not a spot I just immediately want to jump on um onto them in. Uh the Athletics on the other hand are coming off a series loss against the Tampa Tampa Bay Rays. Lost that series two games to one. You know, we saw their batch just really struggle to get get into that game, especially in uh in game three there, but you know, it’s athletics. They’ve been an up and down team this season. Looks like we got Kikuchi on the mount for the Angels and Perkins on the mount for the Athletics. Perkins has only made two starts this season. Um he has a 7.0 erra. It really hasn’t been pretty. I think the Angels will have some success off him, but also think that the Athletics are able to hit off Kikuchi as well. Don’t get me wrong, Kikuchi’s definitely, you know, probably this Angel seems most reliable pitcher, but you know, in his last five starts, he’s given up three or more runs in three of his last five. He has a 450 erra. in his last five he in his last start he gave up four earn against the Tigers. I don’t really think Kikuchi’s in the best form right now and going into this ballpark in Sacramento. I could see him struggle. Also, we got two of the worst bullpens in the league. It needs to be mentioned and that’s what worries me about taking a side in this game because this this series is going to be wild, guys. And I I think it’s going to be chill in the beginning of the game, but once once these bullpens get activated for both of these teams, anything can happen. And that’s what truly makes this a series a wild one for me. And for those reasons, I think where I want to be at is an over. I’m probably going to be betting overs all series long in this one. I mean, like I said, this this game is being played at quarters light. This this building or this ballpark in Sacramento has been so hitter friendly this season. Two of the worst bullpens in the league. Two teams that actually been hitting the ball pretty good this season as well. I think it’s going to be a fun series, but overall I think it’s going to be a high-scoring series. So, in this game one, guys, I’m going to be on an over.
