It just went so off the rails. It wasn’t just the Brewers being good; it was Cubs being so cold and bad. Running, fielding, hitting: all suspect and hard to watch.
So what?! We were 15 games over .500 then and are 15 games over .500 now?!

“Battle” assumes there’s any fight, which there has not been.
It’s football season. Time for my anxiety to shift to the Bears.

Yeah, a month ago I got laughed at for saying the Brewers are absolutely a threat when they narrowed the gap to a few games. “They’ll never maintain a .700 win percentage”.
