White Sox vs. Royals Game Highlights (8/15/25) | MLB Highlights
Royals baseball tonight from Kaufman Stadium in Kansas City as we kick off players weekend in the series with the White Sox. The Royals will be expressing themselves mostly with their cleats and bats, their personal interests, their causes off the field and what they’re grateful for. So here are the spikes that Noah was talking about to honor central high school. And number five, which is very fitting of a young man who grew up as a Royals fan and in his rookie year, he’s made 16 starts and his, er, a is 2.52 with a two and five opponents batting average. Very impressive Vargas, a 226 hitter with 90 hits for the year. He digs in on the right side against the lefty Cameron. The ball hit hard and past Bobby Witt junior in the left. Vargas will reach not many. Get past Bobby Witt. That was just one of the nastiest ground balls a shortstop will ever see and I’m happy that Witt was not in front of it, made the only White Sox batter with previous experience this season against Cameron and that’s it. Well to right. Yastrzemski goes to the edge of the track and Vargas is tagging and he’ll move up 90 feet. So two balls hit pretty well off Cameron first two hitters Vargas and Mead. So two down and now Colson Montgomery just recently coming up from the minor leagues and he’s making quite an impression. Cameron gets a fly ball to left center field and is Bell is there. So even with the leadoff single , that’s an 11 pitch first inning for Cameron and Aaron Savalli goes to the mound trying to make up for last start. This is 16th start is, er, a, a touch under five. As you can see, he doesn’t walk too many people hard hit rate. Only 37.5. That’s excellent. He faces Mires in on the hands and floated out to right and a catch made my goodness what a play by mike Tauchman thought for a moment he might have trapped it but he snagged it from the grass. Now, Whit Bobby hitting 288 and 17 home runs and a liner to left field. You got on top of that fastball , one on one out. Look at how level that swing was. Here’s Pas Quentin and Vinny drops one into right field. Bobby makes the turn and holds. So Vinney who had nine RBIs in the Washington series begins this series with a single. So now it’s garcia out over the plate and a liner to center field. Junior is going to be waved home on Robert who throws it all the way on the fly and over Caro Vale was doing his job and he backed it up for no further advance but the Royals get a run on three consecutive singles. 52nd ST by garcia Salmi. Batting average 243 one one is struck into center. Robert has tracked it and will make the catch no chance for Patino to attack throw kind of gets away from Montgomery but Caro’s able to pull it in that will bring up the veteran Adam Frazier lined to right. He hit it right at Taman who makes the catch. So after one from KC, it’s the Royals one white sox nothing. Now back to the top of the order and miguel Vargas will see Noah for a second time and a wicked hop on and Vargas is going to dig for second on Jastrzebski and he is going to be out. He points to the dugout. He thought he got his hand to the bag around Junior’s tag. We’ll see and they will challenge. That’s what got challenging the alcohol at second base. We see him, put the swim move on the ball did beat him but the tag is in the middle and he thinks he got the hand in before the tag got there in the fields. The runners out Chicago just no definitive proof to overturn the sox do lose their challenge two pretty routine. Ground ball outs. Now the DH Sosa Sosa puts a swing on it deep to left and it is gone off the state farm sign , Leine Sousa ties it up at one another home run for the White Sox. And since the all star break, the Sox have 43 of those leading Philadelphia by one and the Yankees by a couple more. So Sosa his 15th of the year and now ties this ballgame up. Here’s Salvi leading off hitting number four drilled to right, slicing deep into the corner and gone number 22 on the year. Number 295 of his career, Perez not messing around. He got plenty of power to go from line to line and pole to pole. There’s no question over the years. All odds with Kyle is Bell and he has a scratch hit to the bottom of the fifth inning. So speed aboard and the Sox will be careful. His Bell is running. Caro’s throw is on the mark. Q might be coming out and arguing a blocking violation and now he’s been ejected from the game. This has frustrated him most of the year. You’re not supposed to block the bag, dropped the gate, he dropped it. This is the second time that he’s been ejected this year for this type of play. A non obstruction call, big spot here. They haven’t had many chances against Cameron and it will be edgar Carro with runners at the corners sox down a run one out in the sixth inning. A 3 to 0 take will load the bases. And with Laine Sosa coming up and he already has two good swings tonight against Cameron, he’ll be facing John Schreiber. Driver’s been good stranding base runners. Let’s see if he can do it here, caught by junior and they get the rookie Montgomery at second base leaning in the wrong direction. A 6 to 4 line out double play gets Schreiber and the Royals out of the inning so quickly, two up and two down as Aaron tries to get out of this with a 123 innings and she launches one to left with over spin and off the fence. He is 2 to 3 tonight with a home run and a double. And here comes Ethan Katz who always looks like he’s about to tell the pitcher that his dog just got run over by a car. Here’s Frazier with a runner at second two down. Can adam bring home south and that’s lined up the line and with two outs and nobody on the Royals get back to back doubles and they do score right after the White Sox came up empty in the top half of the inning. It’s an RB I double for adam Frazier who’s having a wonderful second run as a Royal, he gives the Royals a two run lead. It’s 3 to 1. Robert at the plate is the tying run. So an opportunity here in the eighth inning, double play ball to second. India steps on second throws the first double play end of inning. It’s all going. The Royals. Wait tonight we go to the bottom of the eighth Royals three white sox one. There’s Carlos Est-vez who’s hoping to pick up where Serpa and Irsay left off. Those three have recorded eight outs on 16 pitches. So back to back strikeouts. First one called that one swinging. The last hope for Chicago is Sousa who homered for their only run back in the fourth inning and he strikes out the side. How about a changeup? Palmy PM? Look at him. He said I knew that changeup would work excellent job to the captain Salvador Perez was awesome tonight with his home run, double, scored a couple of runs all save. That’s a nice opening day win here in this three game series.

Kamehameha!
These Royals just need to keep putting the ball in play ✅
Lmao at the White Sox pitching coach description. 🤣
When is Salvador Pérez going to retire? I’m tired of seeing him kicking the Sox’s butts.
By the way, I do like KC’s City Connect uniforms.
Salvy is doing amazing this past like 2-3 months
