977 978 we’ve got Luis Heel and the Yankees minus 131 Andre Palante and the Cardinals plus 119 total of nine with some juice to the under at minus 125. Kenny, let’s go back to you here. Another one where I just don’t necessarily know what to do with this one. I don’t know how I feel taking Heel at this moment as a favorite. He’s been, you know, he he had his first start, what, beginning of August. Kind of got lit up by the Marlins a little bit. Second start against Houston. Much better. Was able to get into the sixth inning on that one. Strike out seven. So, we back and heal. The Cardinals are a team I can never figure out with Pante. What the hell do we do with this game, Kenny? Yankees, Cardinals. Uh, same uh pretty much the same recipe that that uh I just fired here. I’m going uh Luis Heel. Did Did I do five or six? I’m I’m I don’t know. I don’t know the sheet. Five. It looks like five on Yeah, I did Luis Heel five plus Ks. Uh and the Yankees money line. Um I just I I liked how heel looked last game. Um again, just a few like singularly bad pitches. I mean, that that that first pitch, the Pñena was was was pretty terrible, but for the most part, you know, stuff looked as good as it’s looked, you know, pre uh pre Tommy John. And I just think he’s another guy that they’re going to just continue to ramp up here. So, uh, I I I like him in this spot. I think you’re still getting him on on a bit of a discount in terms of strikeouts. The pitch count’s going to be fine. Uh, and I still I I have no faith in this Cardinals team or in or in Palante. I just I think they’re getting a little too much respect here. I know the Yankees haven’t been, you know, world beaters over the last month and a half, but this I think this is uh this is a classic Yankees win like 12 to three. The whole lineup goes yard and everyone forgets that they’ve sucked for the last month. So, I like the Yankees a lot today. Yankees money line. the we 5ks. Yeah. And I think it’s good going with the 5ks because the Cardinals are sneaky. Uh I know it’s juiced the 5ks, but they’re sneaky to get strikeout props on. The Cardinals are kind of tough. They’re a little bit tough uh to get strikeout props against B-Dub. What are we doing with this one here? Heel Palante, I see this comment. IMK Smooth, we love you and thanks for watching all the time. But he says whenever B-Dub says the card is tough, that means the bets he wants might be to lose. So the bet the opposite. There’s value everywhere. I completely disagree. We cover this sport every single day and this is a tough card. So I don’t know what the hell you’re smoking this morning. Well, maybe maybe he’s right. I I don’t I would I don’t see I mean he’s I mean he really could be uh you know and and and in in that case then bet against me if that’s true. But I don’t I don’t think it is. You know, sometimes it’s interesting sometimes the this is what I think over over 15 years of handicapping 20 years oh almost Jesus I’m getting old cow almost 20 years I did did the first public show uh with Gil in in 2011 so that’s 14 years ago but I started in 20 uh 2006 I remember writing writing writing up the the Rockies Red Sox this is how long ago is the Rockies were in the World Series in 2006 so I would think that over that time like when I really am bullish on a card, it doesn’t hit. And when I’m really like apprehensive, but like it’s better, you know? So, I mean, that’s just kind of like my feel for it. But it is a it is a hard card. Getting back to this game, uh you know, I I agree with Kenny. Uh his last game out, Heel was the real deal. And his first game, but there’s only two games. The fir the first game, Louise Heel pitched like a Heel base winner erra 8.15. There’s the dad humor for the guys that are that are waiting for for the dad jokes. But, uh, I wanted to bring this back. So, first of all, I I I’m showing a little bit of value from a modeling standpoint with the Cardinals here. I I think it should be closer to a pick, but but Heels’s number kind of like in the model, and this is what some sometimes is hard about modeling games if you you if you have like a a set method you you use. I I I don’t want to go in there and manually change a bunch of stuff because I want to kind of test the model and you guys have gotten a taste of that where hey this is, you know, I’ I’ve gone through the charts and this is what’s what’s happened. So I I don’t agree with what I have and so I’m going to pass on this this game. Uh I do think that the Yankees offense, you know, people are talking a lot of trash about the Yankees. I have the Yankees offense as as we speak right now, best in baseball. And I’ve got the bullpen third in baseball and then the Cardinals bullpen. I think the most interesting thing from from a game standpoint, so I have him ranked 18th and they’re they’re a little bit bet worse than average, but they’ve got a guy, Kyle, Jojo Romero. Are you familiar with Jojo Romero? Just a little. Just a little. Okay. Do you do you know the song Jojo by Bos Skaggs? Are you familiar with that song? Uh let’s see. I’m uh I It doesn’t ring a bell. Boss, of course, so Boss Gags, I’m taking it back to this game. So, it’s a song about a pimp on Broadway. So, you got your closer Jojo and got your song Boss Scaggs. You got the opponent New York Yankees. Where’s Broadway in New York? So, I’m bringing it back. But there’s a line in that song. Say what you will about gentlemen wearing mink. And I you know what? I’m okay with gentlemen wearing mink. But I guess nowadays, what the is mink? It’s a mink coat. A mink coat. But I guess people don’t do that. I think he he wrote this song in the early ‘8s when it’s still okay to wear mink. I think nowadays if you wear mink, you know, people are going to think that you’re the antichrist. But anyway, that’s that’s a little tidbit about uh every time I see that Jojo, I think about uh Jojo, Bos Scags, Kyle. I mean, there you go. Jojo and Bob Bos Skags.
