Hopefully that gives them some momentum
No better way to break an embarrassing streak you aren’t proud of than to bring attention to it.
fly the W
I can’t wait to see the ump scorecard lmao
I’m not mad after a Cubs game!
Can’t believe they actually won a game after trailing. I THOUGHT THAT WASN’T ALLOWED?!?!?
Easy W, never doubted them
The song is always a banger but it’s hitting particularly well rn
I know silver linings aren’t popular around here lately but it’s somewhat reassuring that even in our worst slump of the season we still almost never lose more than 2 in a row. That’s important in 5/7 game postgame series
The streak is dead!
That was a lot harder than it probably should have been, but when you’re subsisting on a steady diet of gruel, you don’t turn your nose up at a piece of meat.
Please let that be a bounce back moment for Tucker
Needed that bad
More ball like the 8th please.
Broke that shitty going behind and losing streak as well, baby steps.
Oh yeah, bipolar cub fans buying World Series tickets

Hopefully this is the start of a hot streak
I’ll tell my grandchildren about that 2 run explosion in the 8th

Guys they came back and won a baseball game!

Small ball works too
Tucker and Suzuki each with 2 hits today……turning point???
Listened to today’s game on audio instead of watching. Guess I’m audio only going forward!
Ok, we won a game yesterday. If we win today, it’s called “two in a row”. And if we win again tomorrow, it’s called a “winning streak”… It has happened before
-me next game
Cubs rock.
I was just getting off the court when they walked Happ to get to Hoerner. All I can say is…..what? Thank you.
I’ll feel happier once Kyle Tucker starts hitting home runs again
Shout-out to the Pirates for intentionally walking Happ (our 2nd worst RISP hitter) to get to Nico (our highest RISP hitter).
And PCA for the bunt.
Hopefully some day I can get to Chicago and see a game live. Park looks so beautiful!
Another good one from Imanaga, glad to see him getting better results after that White Sox game looked like he might not be 100%. Having to claw a win from the Pirates isn’t what you want, but it’s hopefully a start to more games like we saw in the spring
Shota with his obligatory solo HR and nothing else.
Fergie believed in directly challenging hitters with the bases empty, and if one went out then so be it. In Fergie’s three year peak of 1970-1972, he gave up 91 HR in 114 starts, but only 157 walks. And he averaged a little over 8 innings and almost 33 batters faced per start.
Shota has given up 44 HR and 45 BB in 46 career Cub starts.
