WHAT A PASS BY DEMIDOV!

The second line center was Jake Evans all along. I knew it. I’m just joking around, guys. But Jake Evans, Ivan Demidov, Alexandre Kerier all played tonight together, three versus three against other NHL players in a league called the LSHL. It’s a threeon-ree league. It’s really fun. It’s fast. And I thought I’d talk about it because there’s some cute little goals. Jake Evans. Oh, [Applause] so just a fun quick video. Let’s talk about it. I only shoot and score. Then if you score, then we’ll come. I didn’t really think I was going to make a video about this. There’s been plenty of these games that have happened recently. Uh Nick Suzuki’s been playing, right? There’s a bunch of them that’s taken a little crack at it. It’s It’s fun hockey. Patrick L’s been in there. I think uh Chris Leang is also playing. So, it’s really neat to see them out there. There’s not much contact. Although, Alexandra Kerier uh he took a little spill. And the way that this game ended, I had to uh I thought I figured I’d have to do a video on it. I had a I had a fun time watching. And right now, in the drought that we’re in, ah any hockey is great hockey. I feel like Homer in that episode of The Simpsons where he goes to AA. The other day I was so desperate for a beer I snuck into the football stadium and ate the dirt under the bleachers. I castly out. So, let’s get into it. I’m going to go over the recap of this game. I’m not going to, you know, do a full recap of it, but we’re going to have some fun here. And if you’re new to the channel, hit that subscribe button. I’d love to have you as part of the community. So, I’ll admit the game started off I was like, uh, am I going to keep watching this? And it struck me that Ivan Demidov particularly wasn’t wasn’t playing too good. the announcers uh they were on one tonight. Evans, what they were saying about how Demidov last game was playing with new skates or something like that and he’s having a hard a hard time staying up on his feet and as they were saying that of course he falls. So on one side of the sheet we had Alexander, Joshua Ru, Lauren Doof, Jake Evans, Ivan Demidav, and uh Justin Robida. They were representing the AXA team. Is it accent insurance? I don’t know. And then on the other side of the sheet, we had Raphael Lavois, Nicholas Obeel, who might have been the hero of the game. Of course, he’s on the Minnesota Wild, Julian Gotautier from the Islanders, Jonathan Aspro, Anthony Bolier from the Washington Capitals, and of course, uh Vincent Desiren. He’s currently on the San Jose Sharks, but he’s played a lot uh of hockey on different teams and his short amount of time in the league. He’s played with the Penguins, Conucks, and I think he was drafted by the Oilers. He’s 6’7. He’s a giant. You can’t miss him. So, like I said, things got off a little bit shaky. And then Jake Evans and Ivan Demidov made a bunch of little connections. Check it out. [Music] What? The guys from Be Healthy Love Berry. That must be like a yogurt company. Oh man, that looks good. Yeah, it looks like they uh they do all sorts of like fruit desserts. Anyway, the guys representing BLB kept it interesting. It was tied up 66, but then Doofan makes it 76 right before the end of the second period. [Music] I guess it’s worth mentioning there’s different rules. Of course, it’s a smaller surface. The blue line isn’t offside. I think it’s the red line. And the clock just keeps going even during um faceoffs. So, Doofan gets that goal. Kerier makes it 86. Then Evans makes it 96. And it looks like the boys from uh team Axan are going to pull away from it. Uh it seems like the yogurt berry boys are running out of steam. Then we have potentially the play of the game by of course Ivan Demidov. Check this out. Evans. [Applause] And now it’s 106 for Le Canadian. But wait a minute. The Berry Boys are going to score four consecutive goals. Obe Kubel makes it 10-10. Now there is less than a minute left and everybody is suddenly taking this very seriously. Check this out. [Applause] So, what happens now? I guess they’re going to a shootout. [Music] Ivan Demidov takes a shot and is not successful. Jake Evans has an opportunity. He’s not successful. Obe now has a chance and yeah he he puts it in. Now it’s down to Alexandre Ker. Can he keep the team alive? No. The Berry Boys win. Yeah, it actually turned out to be really fun watch. Uh I’m going to keep my eye on future games to see who’s playing and uh depending on the matchups, I’ll probably watch and see how it goes. maybe update you guys as well. Hope you’re all having a great night. I just, like I said, I just wanted to have this fun little video and show you some clips. For those of you following along, the wildfires in New Brunswick apparently have not gotten any better. The one nearby is still burning out of control. And I have friends in Nova Scotia. There’s a big fire in Bayer’s Lake area. What’s the status of that one? That one was particularly scary because they did have to evacuate certain businesses. Yeah, it’s it’s bad. Hope you’re all doing all right, though. Take care and you know what to do. Like the video. Helps me out with search results or whatever something. Subscribe if you’re not already subscribed. I’d love to have you. And as always, I will see you down in the comments. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] understanding is a lot of these guys who have these monies, they hire these girls and they’ll like take dumps on them. That’s like what they’re into. Five.

Watch Ivan Demidov, Jake Evans, and Alexandre Carrier hit the ice together in an exciting 3-on-3 matchup at the LSHL (Ligue de hockey de la région de la capitale) — facing off against other NHL talent. The high-skill format brought fast-paced action, highlight-reel plays, and plenty of creative puck movement from three very different styles of players. If you’re a Montreal Canadiens fan or just love seeing NHL stars in summer hockey, this one’s worth checking out!

  1. This was actually a lot of fun. Great to see the guys playing – I mean… I'll take ANYTHING right now.

Let me know what you thought about the gameplay. Hope y'all are doing well – take care and have a great day.

  2. Blue line is the offside line until you enter it legally with possession “onside”

If you gain the blue line with possession the offensive zone extends to the red line “erasing the blue line”

If the puck exits the redline you must regain the blue line onside

I think there is shorter term for this explanation

  3. Stay safe in New Brunswick, we're getting a little "relief" here in Nova Scotia tonight, the temps are supposed to go down today, maybe rain tomorrow, here's hoping.

  4. I know you were joking around but….. Jake Evans as the 2C wouldn't be a bad idea lol. Defensively responsible, could really help settle down a guy like Demidov in his first full year. Laine as the goal-scorer, Demidov the playmaker, Evans the solid two-way forward who seemingly has chemistry already with Demigod haha. I think it'd be quite fun to try out at the very least, could give a good balance to the line-up if you go Newhook-Bolduc-Gallagher on the 3rd line. Yes that means Dach starts on the 4th line, especially if he isn't super healthy to start the year.

Also Kevin Mandolese was complete trash, I see why the Senators dumped him after a .916sv% in 3 NHL games 😂

  5. Now I feel shame.
I put money on the insurance team and they let me down. My insurance is expensive enough and now I loose more.
Je Suis Faché. Who were the Goalies? I'm selling their YG rookie cards!
    😉

  6. The announcers were hilarious, like when Demidov missed in the shootout Ohhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
Also cracked a good laugh when they compared the ice to Quebec roads…

  7. Demidov, Demidov, Demidov!! Not putting any pressure on the kid, but he has to be the most talented and smart player we have had since, well Lane Hutson ahahah, but before that its been decades for a Forward.

I see a lot of similarities in his play style to Kutcherov, (in his pass first and playmaking style of one timer passing, and thats not bad at all, plus Demidov has a great and likeable personality, vs Kutcherov, who seems like a douchebag. I can see Demidov helping Patrick Laine score 5 on 5 a lot more this season.

Demidov could be the first rookie forward to actually be able do what Hutson did last season, and beat the most point by a rookie Canadien forward (71 points) shared by Mats Naslund and Kjell Dahlin (witch funny enough where also European players, after Hutson an American, beat the previous record from Chelios, also an American). Just seems like it would make another great story for this season.

  8. Great video. I live across the highway from Bayer's Lake (about 1-2 kms away) and it was a scary time yesterday afternoon/evening. Water bombers helped a lot. Overnight heavy fog helped too and today there's smoke but it has seemed to have died down in the vicinity. Quite stressful. All the best in NB. Cheers!

  9. It was the Semifinals this week and the LSHL Final will be on Tuesday. If I’m not mistaken, it will be RénoBrio in Black VS BeHealthyLoveBerry in purple.

Can’t wait to see the intensity! We all know they are playing for fun but the guys want to win in the end, so it might be a really good game!

It was fun to watch all summer. Congrats to the LSHL organization! All the money was raised for a good cause, pancreatic cancer.
