And if you have, if you’re new to our channel, welcome. Let’s start making you some money with this matchup between the Boston Red Sox and the Miami Marlins. The Boston Red Sox sending out Garrett Crochet for the start in this one while the Miami Marlins will counter with Jansen Junk. And you know, Jansen Junk, another five innings, three runs, pair of home runs that he gave up in that last uh that last start. And since the all-star break, you know, Junk hasn’t been terrible, but I’ll tell you, he’s not what he was earlier on in the year. Now, the benefit for him here is that on the road this season, Junk’s numbers have been slightly better. A 4-0 record across eight games, five starts, a 3.70 erra in the second half of the season, basically post Allstar break though, a 6.84 84 Erra overshadows the 2.68 erra that he had in the first half of the season. So, leaves, like I said, leaves a lot to be desired with um with Jansen Junk. And now you’re going against a Boston Red Sox lineup that in the last two weeks against right-handed pitching hasn’t been anything special hitting 223. The team OPS numbers haven’t been, you know, anything to write home about. However, they do still have a huge pitching advantage here with Garrick Crochet. And my concern for the Miami Marlins is that while their sort of luster as road underdogs has kind of worn off in some of these recent games, the fact is that it’s happened because some of the uh some of the uh recent form has, you know, looked like the Marlins of old where they’ve really struggled against left-handed pitching. In the last two weeks against lefties, the Miami Marlins are fourth worst in baseball in batting average against lefties, hitting just 195. The team OPS numbers are fourth worst. First, the isolated power numbers really nothing to be desired. Now, Garrick Crochet is coming off a rough start last time out. He gave up five runs on seven hits over four innings of work on the road against the Houston Astros. But prior to that, Crochet had been rolling over his last five starts where he had gone at least two run uh two six innings of two-run ball or less in four straight outings. He had just been pitching extremely extremely well. And for me, this is just a spot where I think it’s just going to be the Marlins against a solid left-handed pitcher and where I just don’t know if they’re going to be able to make up for um for a lot of those shortcomings against lefties that they’re back, you know, experiencing right now. So, I’m going to roll with the Red Sox. I’m going to take Boston on the run line here and that’s going to be my free pick.
