Hey, I just got back from outer space! What’d I miss? Oh, nothing? Cool!
Sweeps are hard and I am not
How this team has won 60+ games is truly remarkable.
i mean the team just isnt very good.
Jojo been kinda doodoo
For me, this is the saddest loss of the season because it is the most recent
Lol fanduel is such a shit network. No postgame at all for this game. Just immediately into stupid diggin deep.
I don’t even care about them being bad this season. I expected it. The thing that really makes me the most disappointed is that there is 1 player on the current roster who I’m excited to watch next year which is Winn. Obviously I’m excited to see JJ next year, but man the future looks bleak
Wasn’t able to catch the game today but just looked at the box scores. Why did nootbar get replaced? Please don’t tell me he’s hurt again too.
If you told me in 2022 that Goldy went 3-5 and Luke Weaver earned the win for the Yankees to complete a sweep, I think my head would have exploded.
We suck again…
Absolute caca
I can’t wait to be excited to watch the Cardinals again. I’m very much in “watch out of duty as a fan” mode right now.
Swept at home. Sigh.
Am I the only person that has terrible thoughts running through their head when Walker comes up and you see the negative WAR posted up on the screen?
We stink
Looks like only the Giants have a worse record than StL since the ASG. Also the Red Birds have scored the fewest runs in baseball since the break. I didn’t even want to look at the pitching stats. An absolute dumpster fire.
Team meeting
I’m not buying the heat issue. Plenty of good Cardinals teams have played in 100° weather and they had an attendance of 40k+. I’ve spent plenty of summer days sweating my ass off in the bleachers watching competitive teams play and I spent money on concessions and apparel, and had a blast! We all have I’m sure.
The 2025 team plays bad fundamental baseball too often (sure it has nothing to do with gutting our minors and ignoring it for several seasons… /s). The front office has BS’d about way too much and that’s our issue. Why are we playing shorthanded? Why aren’t you interested in calling up players that would benefit the team? Why do you find the need to try and showcase a pitcher like Fedde and still pitch Mikolas and Pallante every 5th day? When going to a 6-man or a pen starter would benefit every single pitcher. Oli has done everything he can do with what he’s been given. I feel bad for the guy.
We fans aren’t going to spend even more money on seeing them. It could be 75° and this would be the scene for this team. I’ve gone to 6 games this year. But won’t be back to Busch this year, especially if it’s not getting to see Wetherholt or Mathews. It’s not about being a fair-weather fan anymore. We are just sick and tired of the garbage the FO keeps trying to shove down our throats. Mo cant be gone soon enough, him and his “legacy” can GTFO of STL.
JJ Wetherholt must have heard my (kind of) complaint about him not hitting for average as much and too many homers lately because he’s 3-3 today so far.
9th was a kick in the nuts and a shart
I heard Thomas saggese scrapes the salt off of his soft pretzels
