✭ Tyler Booker Preseason Debut Film Session || All 22 Highlights Dallas Cowboys
And we are back. Today we’re looking at the offensive line. Specifically, we’re looking at the Cowboys first round pick, Tyler Booker. And of course, I’m going to use every opportunity I can to love on Cooper BB. All right. And you know, just Hey, hey, I just want y’all paying attention here. We’re going to run these plays. We’re going to come back and talk about it, man. Pull out your notepad cuz I’ve told y’all to write things down before because we’re looking for recurring themes here. We’re looking for things that we’ve maybe seen before. Tell me if y’all seen me either draw a triangle or like a rough rhombusy looking shape. You know what I’m saying? Let me let me let me know if you if you seen me draw something on the screen look similar to this. Okay. What we what we doing right now on this outside zone, we going boom boom boom. Okay. Boom boom boom. Everybody’s working in one direction. As the offense is right, the the defense is left. Okay. So, the first part of this thing is Book going to have to reach uh number 91, which is all right. Book can reach 91. And what I like about this, take a look at Book’s left side, right? His hands aren’t in the greatest of positions right now because we’re working in a direction. If we’re working this way, then Book’s hands are fine, but we’re working that way. So, we need a whole another hand placement to deal with that, right? I want y’all to focus on Book’s left arm. Boom. Boom. Boom. Y’all see that? Y’all saw that? It happened fast. Do the move that you do. The gut in the eyes move. You see that? That little fast swipe of the hand right there from uh Booker. That’s just him getting his arm under. Okay? because he’s he’s he’s getting the rest of his body in the exchange. We all going to the sideline together, okay? So, we can’t be square going to the sideline together. So, what he’s doing is that he’s ripping this inside arm to to be more more square towards the sideline. Okay, that’s just outside zone stuff right there. But, uh good job from uh by uh Booker taking this thing all the way to the sideline. One more thing that I really enjoyed here watching BB was first of all, BB is going to show in case uh Book needs some help or anything like that. Book didn’t need any help. Boom. So BB’s going to climb and you’re going to see uh who’s that? Bass try to take over 97. Cool. Bass didn’t take over 97 all the way. That’s that’s okay. But uh BB did eventually climb to a 32. And one thing that we always that we always mention Brian Bis always talks about is cutting the defense in half. This is a cool example of cutting the defense in half because with these two blocks right here, you are erasing these characters. That make sense? So now the only guys that we’re really thinking about is one, two, three. Those are the focal points of the uh of the offensive blocking situation there. But hey, BB’s going to uh come around, climb, he’s going to seal 32 there. Bam. Now we ain’t got to worry about 32. That’s what Brian means when he says cut the defense in half. So good job by BB. We uh used to have a hard time climbing the second level at the center spot. So uh look like we couple people pointed this play out to me in the A couple people pointed this play. Say that five times right. A couple people pointed this play out to me in the broadcast view and um they were just asking my thoughts and opinions on so let’s just kind of break it down a little bit. Let’s run it and then we’ll bring it back. I’m not going to highlight book every single time cuz y’all know where the right guard at now. Uh so we get a little uh combo wombo right here. Bam. Bam. And it seems fine to start and maybe we didn’t sustain the block all that best, you know, like we got the the the movement that we want, the placement that we wanted, and Hakee Adenji did kind of uh show his face on the uh linebacker there. But this is a a game of of leverage here. If we’re all kind of stepping to the left, then we kind of got these shoulders covered up. You know what I’m saying? Those uh offensive left, defensive right shoulders kind of covered up a little bit. What I want to know, let me just bring this back a little taste. Right now, look, I I didn’t I didn’t call the play. So, I don’t know exactly what’s going on here, right? But it looked like the play is going to the left. And it looked like the play kind of should have stayed that way. You know what I mean? It just looked like a lot more space on this side. I mean, this side is the the right side of the offense is fine as well, but it just look a lot less cluttered over there. The left side seems to be give us free, but it’s it’s fine. It’s fine. It’s all good. But uh yeah, Miles Sanders kind of cut back a little bit at a hard angle. Like, you know, it ain’t like he cut back and went this way, you know what I mean? Which would have been bad, too, I think. But he kind of cut back at a at a at a hard right and that kind of got guys off of the leverage here. So, uh I think that’s what happened there. And look, man, I I don’t know nothing. I didn’t call the play. I don’t know what the offense is, but I think if Miles would have just kept this thing, uh play side, we would have been fine. Especially, damn, especially uh the little bit of movement that we got from uh TJ Bass and um our guy Nathan Thomas here. Seemed like we got some pretty good movement there. But maybe that’s just uh maybe that’s, you know, that’s just me not knowing. I’ll I’ll ask around. One of the bigger talking points in camp was uh Tyler Booker in his hand fighting. Let’s just go ahead and take a look at him right here. Shabby Dam. [Music] Here. Hey man, let me just tell y’all something man. Tyler Booker going to get a good a good little strike to the up and the outside. Why is that important? Well, because this character’s uh trying to hit your outsides. And if he’s trying to hit your outsides, you got to hit his outsides to kind of bring him back in that direction. You know what I mean? Tyler Booker with the strong outside hand, which is his his right hand in this situation, which is important because in college, Tyler Booker was at left guard. So, this would be his left hand in this situation. But, uh him being able to work both sides, that’s important here. And that’s something that we’re having to keep eyes on him to make sure that he’s able to work through the the sightedness. But uh we don’t have any dexterity issues here, boy. Get a good punch to the uh to the high right. Bam. Get a good little a good little follow up with the left hand. And we going to get some good knee bend right here. And some good base, ladies and gentlemen. Take a look at the feet real fast. Take a look at the feet real fast. Good knee bend. Good base. Here. Here. Here. One more time. One more time. One more time. One more time for the knee being in base. All right. Can I just take another moment to be proud of Cooper BB right here? Your center. Take a look at him sit down on the nose right here. Ladies and gentlemen, if we had any kind of problem with the pockets, you know what I mean? It was always those big guys lying head up or them AAP characters. Boy, we always had problems with those guys and and just having a a powerful center just make things a little different for you. Okay. And then also something else too I like I love. Look at Book just looking over just in case he need help. Just in case Book need to be a help guy, he just looking over. I think that was one of uh Booker’s more more um less talked about traits was, you know, his ability in the in the passing game as a help guy. He was always available and he always knew when to kind of come off of something, move around, find some work. Uh Booker was was really really good at that. But just the idea of of having powerful interior, let me see if I can draw something. Let me see if I can draw something real fast. All right. Run forward. Boom. Boom. Boom, boom, boom. When you when you powerful on the inside, when you powerful on the inside, Joe Milton has space and time to throw the ball accurately and hit somebody. But, but damn, the offensive line did their part. You feel me? Let’s move on. Got a fun play here. We got Tyler Booker on the pull. Uh, the skip pull, pardon me. Pardon me. Well, let’s just run it and we’ll come back and talk about skip, pull, log, outside run. Come on, man. Uh, and the end did us a did us a big favor. So, shouts out to the edge guy here. The edge guy made it a little easy for us. He by actually doing his job. Uh, Nathan Thomas is going to go away here. The end is going to get real tight to the line of scrimmage. So, that just gives Book a lot more room to come around and log and keep you over there. You know what I’m saying? There’s a lot of people that just thought Book was never going to pull, you know, because that was a a part of some people’s scouting reports that they don’t want Book pulling. Man, look, Book ain’t going to pull all day and he’s not going to do a whole bunch of running around in open space, but there are going to be plays where you get 52, you know, on the move going in some direction. He’s going to be logging people or kicking people or whatever it is, you know, that he does. He’s not going to be a static player. One more thing, we’re going to run this play, come back and talk about it. I remember in camp because I was there. I remember in um in camp, Ebber flew through a lot of weird little slants and stunts and things like that to kind of uh to kind of mess up the offensive line there. And in practice, Book didn’t always pick it up as as clean or as fast. So, for like 24 hours, Rob Jones ended up being the right guard out there. And Book ain’t like it. I already know he ain’t like cuz cuz I you know, I was around when they was asking Book about it. You know what I mean? Uh, but Book seeing the stunts and normally Book is a good stunt seer. Like on his college film, he sees Gap exchange, but you know, sometimes the league hits you with some weird ass stunts. You just got to be ready, right? Um, you know, you’re going to get uh who is he 93 working upfield then working around. Boom. Boom. You know what I’m saying? And then once he works around uh who is it 94 or 49 come and take over Books Gap? Yeah. like like like the long delayed gap exchanges and and look look back in the day when I was center this used to piss me off too. But good thing for Bookman just uh you know proud of him seeing this in practice and not seeing it very well. We getting this game situation versus another team. Boom. Cross his face. He’s he’s going to come back and uh he going to drive character out the film which is which which is the best part. Hey, can I get a DM? Hear what I said? Dark. You know what I’m saying? After he picked up the stunt, we just going to go ahead and drive. Well, not the stunt, but the slant, the the movement, the gappy shank. We just going to dry fell a little bit for his trouble. All right. Hey, man. I appreciate y’all for tapping in with me. Uh, we are just just watched Tyler Booker. We probably got a little bit more film to go. The film came in a little late, so uh, y’all got y’all’s film a little late. It’s all right. I’ll be doing some more all week. Y’all hold it down. Till next time, man. I love y’all to pieces. All right. Salute. [Music]

My husband tried to surprise me with a striptease. It was adorable until he got tangled up in his own pants and fell over the coffee table. Smooth moves, honey✨

Jalen Tolbert and Jalen brooks being asked to block should be a WAR CRIME
Voch was itching to get this one out 😂💯🫡🥃👑
Man we gone have to be able to run the ball to keep the defense off the field. Glad we got book, bb, and smith.
I know the ones have not been playing to much but we got to be able to run the ball. The run game has made me nervous so far
The gut and eyes move 😂 my mans with the blue streak reference
We need a vid on the linebackers !!
Vosh the volume is a little low
He is who we thought he was!😎
This coaching staff is not very good this why the cowboys never go anywhere
Booker was the star of the offense.
Man in a weird sick way I wish we could watch all 22 with you before we actually watch the game 😂 I know that sound dumb but man it helps to understand the game different
4:00 Props to Jalen Tolbert for not hesitating to take on the Linebacker.
Yes sir keep getting it @VochLombardi🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👑👑👑👑👑
Do a film study of Joe Milton, i could use a laugh for 3 min straight
@4:40 Sanders didn't take ut left because if the safety coming downhill….is he not confident he can beat him?
Voch, you missed the big highlight when he threw the defensive lineman out the club then moved to make a block at the second level. Great work fo' sho 👌🏽🏈⭐️
I hear Blue gonna be in action Friday, I believe he'll show how to hit holes and not miss them.
Thanks for the update, Voch
Thanks Voch….
What’s going on in practice that’s making Joe Milton look like a serviceable QB? And getting in games looking like he has never played the position is our defense that terrible
