Phillies. There’s the aggressiveness going after the first pitch and the defense has hurt the nationals in this ballgame early on. It’ll bring nick Castanos to the plate. Nick was off yesterday in the 02. That balls hit well deep to left field going back is Lyle long gone for nick Castellano. It’s his 16th home run of the year and the Phillies add on as they lead it 9 to 6. He’s got one of the best dismounts in the game when he gets into 11 and nine off the bat. Now, Daylin Lyle with Cruz on deck line drive out to left center field that’s going to split the gap and it’s going to go to the and Lyle can run, he’s on his way to second, he’ll stop there and Rob Thompson is going to come out, I would think and bring in Duran to try to get out of this because the tying run is coming to the plate as the nats have scored three runs in the ninth inning bouncer back toward the middle turner. Takes it off the lip of the grass throws in time two outs that hop you saw was going to go off of it. This is a great play by Trey Turner. Well, now they get situated with James Wood. He represents the tying run, pinch hitting. So he’s ending their longest road trip of the season trying to close the door here in the bottom of the ninth inning swing and a miss he got him and the ball game is over. Duran comes back after taking the line drive off the foot on Friday night to close out Sunday afternoon. They win it by 2, 11 and nine. They split this four game series.
