hitter into the sixth inning. A no hitter and only gave up one hit, didn’t give up a run. We’ll get 
to his numbers in a minute. And then your bullpen, train wreck city. Three guys used all give 
up runs. Wilson Taylor was terrible today and Leisure. And the Royals win this comfortably 
after trailing 2 nothing. Here’s how the scoring went down in the first. Lenin Sosa home run to 
center. One- nothing White Socks in the six. Edgar Carroll base hit. That scores Andrew Bennettendi. 
Two nothing White Sox. And the way Davis Martin’s throwing. You’re like, “Holy cow. Are we going 
to see a no no today?” Not quite. Bottom seven though. Jonathan India off the bullpen. He hits 
a home run to left field. We’re tied. Frasier was aboard. 2-2. And then in the eighth, Mikel 
Garcia base hit. Bobby Wit scores. Salvi Perez base hit. Garcia scores and Frasier way up and 
way out with Perez aboard. Two-run home run 6-2. There is your final, folks. It is what it is. 
There are going to be days these young kids are going to play really good baseball and there 
are going to be days the bullpen is not going to get the job done and the offense isn’t going 
to add on. Best thing of the weekend for the White Socks. They sold out rate field twice for 
the Savannah Bananas and I got to watch Burley, Gillian, Kerkco all be involved. It was awesome. 
And AJ AJ was catching on top of it. Super cool all weekend long. But for the White Socks today, 
not a good day. Quick look at our Hooters wing it starting pitching match up. Davis Martin, six 
innings, one hit, no runs, fourks, three walks. Wilson Taylor Leisure. Not good for the Royals. 
They went with Ryan Burgger. And Ryan Burgger today. Five and a third. He’s trying to hang on 
to his rotation spot. Five and a third. Six hits, two runs, one earned, seven Ks, two walks, one 
home run allowed. The Sosa home run. Lenin Sosa in the first. And they use four relievers to 
close it down. White Socks lose player of the game. I know they lost. I’m giving the app player 
of the game without a doubt to Davis Martin. He was magnificent today. Don’t forget we have a 
Bears recap tonight. Bears playing their starters in the preseason game number two, Buffalo at 
Soldier Field tonight, 7:00 kick. When that game goes final, I will have the recap of the game for

You cannot ask much more from your starting pitcher than what Davis Martin did for the White Sox today. Martin took a no-hitter into the 6th and allowed just 1 hit on the day in 6 innings of shutout baseball. But then the bullpen took over in what Kap calls ‘train wreck city’ today. Every reliever gave up runs and the Royals walked away with a comfortable win and a 3-game sweep as they cling to hope for an AL Wild Card spot.
