I still feel it and I think I am going to feel it until I die

Put's int o perspective how even though he played like he was more than fine and has been dominant in the 4 years since, players really do have it rough physicially for the rest of their lives.

  1. Like an anime character who uses a special move at the expense of some of their lifespan.

Giannis did what needed to be done.

  2. reminds me of the shaq atory where he uses nsaid to get through the pain. Giannis has to be going something similar possible.

  3. Respect. He’s a warrior. Also I can’t believe so many fans say he injured Kyrie on purpose

  4. I truly do not understand how he did what he did.

Anecdotally hyper-extending my knee ended my basketball playing entirely.

  5. Giannis can’t shoot. He’s big, but relies on his explosiveness to score in the paint, not a slow, back to the basket post game. I worry he’s not going to age well as a player, and his game could fall off a cliff in the next 2-3 years.

  6. Giannis 50pt, 17/19 from the line closeout performance is one of the most impressive single game displays ever

  7. Dude hyperextended his knee like a damned flamingo and just kept power housing the rim like nothing happened.

He truly proved that he is indeed the Greek *Freak*…

  8. Wait a minute

    >”My leg was the opposite way,” Giannis told GQ in 2021. “To this day, I feel the effect, the traumatic stress. I still feel it, and I think I’m going to feel it until I die.”

He told GQ this in 2021? How about now?

  9. LeBron has said similar regarding his ankle. Makes sense, no one retires with a perfect body from sports.

  10. Giannis and his brothers truly got it out of the mud.He was an undocumented immigrant to Greece, and their older brother was left in Nigeria. They were dirt poor. When life is like that and you have a chance to make as much as he does, what’s some physical pain really?

  11. Was the the one where Thanasis went it the locker room with him? Like “what happens to our knee?”
