This is the first time they’ve been shut out at home all year too iirc
This is depressing as fuck.
To be fair, I think that might have been the case when Steele went down for the year.
Me at our offense…

…so far.
I had to turn it off when Hollowell threw 12 straight balls
It’s over
They couldn’t beat my sons little league team. I’ll never buy another ticket!! Too many good teams to cheer for
I’m not sure what more you expect this offense to do, they crushed TWO singles today ffs

And the day is still young.
the brewers are not good either
I’d love to see people hold on to this, but this sub is so delusional that tons of people actually believed we are still decent after winning a series against the FOURTH WORST TEAM IN ALL OF MLB.
There will be threads like this but it won’t stop that misplaced optimism from coming back with even the SLIGHTEST glimmer of hope.
I honestly wonder what reality some people here are living in.
I have always been a huge Cubs fan. I just care more about long-term sustained success and prefer to see this ownership and management for what they actually are rather than blinding myself to a bunch of “hey look at these prospects and a guy that’s a supposed to be a superstar but really is only the third or fourth best hitter in a WS caliber teams lineup, oh and we’re going to let the biggest star we’ve had in years walk because we’re going to talk about our prospects more”.
