  1. So much for all the know it all's calling for Elias's job. The Trevor Rodgers trade looks pretty good now. He has lowest ERA in majors. Elias drafted this entire team of young players. THIS is the core of the franchise. We've NEVER had this much young home grown talent. The young guys are legit.

  2. Loving the Rogers resurgence. Basallo is exciting and Beavers looks good. Hope Westy’s injury isn’t serious.

Hire a legit bench boss, stay healthy, sign a couple starters and fortify the bullpen and it’s back to war for the division next year.

They also had a great draft and will (unfortunately) be in position to have an even better one next year.

Of course it’d be great if they signed some extensions but not holding my breath on that one.

  3. Good win by the guys.

    Another quality start by Rogers.

A couple of those balls were no doubt HRs in OPACY.

Westie can't stay off the IL.
I will assume he's headed there again after leaving the game early.

  4. They are playing like the 2023 Birds right now. With the change in personnel, it seems they have totally forgotten the first 2/3 of the season. They are just out having fun again.

  5. Is this the Orioles Magic we have been waiting for… Go O’s. Let’s get hot. These youngsters are already helping to win us games. And this is the best Gunnar has looked all year!

  6. Couple of thoughts. 1: starting to get concerned about Cowser and 2:, not a good look for Basallo jogging out of the batters box in the second inning thinking it was a home run and should have been thrown out at second base with a better throw. Kid needs to be hustling every play! Lastly, the double play ball by the Sox in the second (first?) inning should have been challenged. No way the Boston second baseman had control of that ball for the out at second before dropping it for his throw to first.
