Honestly a great article. Fantastic read. A lot of good points here to differentiate the “Skenes” of the world from Webby, and how that’s a good thing.
Baumann is an excellent writer.
It’s amazing the level of data and subsequent analysis that’s available on sports now. I think baseball has the richest data, as there’s less “going on”, most of the game is just pitcher vs batter.
