Damn – all three baserunners this inning have involved bad defensive plays. Winn booting the ball, Burly misplaying that ball in the outfield (he would have been on base – but that probably shouldn’t have been a triple), and now McGreevy throwing it away. If that’s one thing this year – we normally aren’t beating ourselves too often with our fielding, so this is definitely very odd to see.
“Yeah, fuck that.” – Michael McGreevy
Is this outfield that tough to play, or are we just making horrible reads?

1. Masyn Winn
2. Nolan Gorman
3. Thomas Saggese
Although he was part of the reason he was in the specific jam he was in – good to see McGreevy able to settle down and get out of the inning with only moderate damage. One of the reasons our pitching has been somewhat frustrating this season has been that our starters often completely implode when stuff starts going wrong – so I’m always happy when one of our starters can stop the bleeding.
Brendan Donovan never should have started the game after his pinch hit double.
Holy cow, that Ump took it literally on the chin. What a punishing job. Like Chip said, I don’t mind brief delays like this to check in. Concussions literally shorten lives.

The marlins consistently make stupid ass mistakes and it’s kind of hilarious lol
I enjoy us scoring runs
Tired of throwing Wild Pitches? How about trying a Passed Ball for a change? It’s basically the same thing, only this time it’s explicitly the catcher’s fault!
