  4. The Miami Dolphins are all finesse and no toughness. They look like a Super Bowl contender against the worst teams in the NFL, but against the top dogs of the league, they shrivel up like George Costanza in the pool. That’s coaching.

  7. A couple of years ago McDaniels was "a genius, one of the best minds in the game" Now he incapable of coaching…whatever..Im not a Dolphins fan just all this noise is beyond ludicrous at times

  10. I've been a Dolphins fan so long I remember Shula's introductory press conference. Someone in the press asked Shula to describe his coaching style, Don responded with "I'm about as subtle as a punch in the nose". We all know how that turned out. Fast forward and I saw all of coach McDaniel's glibness and loquaciousness that the press loved and myself as a grad degreed Georgia Tech Aerospace Engineer, I gave him props for our offense but then the injuries to key players started piling up including a DE that I thought had Jason Taylor upside who now appears to be a shell and our pro bowl LT was old and couldn't stay on the field, etc, etc. To my eyes we just don't have the talent on either line or LB's to compete against the big top teams. Now here we are with an old team without much talent on either line. I don't expect much this year. I see about 7 wins and McDaniel and Grier both gone with a total retool operation. The leadership we have now is failing.

  13. There’s a reason why this team has a losing record against winning teams. Saw a stat where they went 1-11 in a two year stretch under McDaniels lol

  26. 😂the Lions talking smack? Of courses they didn't back it up. The dolphins outplayed them. Lions are a sad group. No accomplishments. Talking like they won something. 😂😂😂.

  28. Rome knows better – just stupid puff-piece to get views from the LEMMINGS. He knows what camp/preseason is about and how much stock to put into 'results' – yet he just jumps on narrative trend because of all the clueless people that take whatever talking-heads say as reality. Things are so ridiculous that all you have to do is say the same crap over-and-over and 80% of the public will believe it.

    I am curious if the narrative (McD sucks, Dolphins soft, etc) is being pushed because of how people react or if there is a more organized thing behind it… best results over 3yrs for ANY Miami Dolphins Coach/QB combination since Marino, and it's mostly negative. Dolphins are hard to predict due to Tua's concussion issues – we know Vegas does NOT like stuff they can't predict – so wonder what their strategy is for a team like the Dolphins.

  37. I will add that Miami looked pretty damn good in their preseason game against Detroit. Pretty much none of their starters played. Perhaps you should wait until you see the whole picture since your comments aren't aging very well.

  39. I said this on my Facebook page when I saw it happen. Back in 2023, my wife and I went to A Ravens game against the Dolphins on New Years eve that year. I knew he wasn't a serious coach when I saw him vaping on the sidelines behind the O line bench. I posted a video of it and of course ESPN had it taken down. The dude is a 15 year old in a 42 year old body. Oh by the way, the Dolphins lost that game 56-19.

  40. someone tell this douchebag that Miami beat the Lions. final score was 24-17they out gained them by 100 yards, they made big plays. you didn't watch the game obviously. I like Rome, but this was a lazy take. and LOL at quoting Omar Kelly. he is the most clueless person you could listen to. they have pics of Omar sleeping at the practices while in the stands. I love Omar Kelly the person, but he is a lousy reporter and HATES the dolphins and the players HATE him too
