  1. This was such a special moment. Was at this game in the lower level and I don’t think I’ve ever been part of a more spontaneous collective outpouring of affection. We love this man here in DC. It’s hard to describe if you never had that feeling for a player. But I can tell you I’m crying at my laptop right now just remembering it.

  2. One of my fav things is when a player goes back to a city that loved him with a different team and they still show him love

  3. I remember being at clippers game when they were in the heat of lob city. Wizards are getting worked but John wall is cooking the entire game… play after play… he did this insane 360 layup through a defender that hushed the whole stadium. They didn’t show the replay on espn but it’s one of the greatest moves I’ve ever seen from a basketball player.

  4. Throwback to when John Wall led the Wizards to their best years since they were the Bullets. I think 2016-2017 was when he had them in the 2nd round and took the Celtics to 7 games

  5. I loved watching Wall play, shame he didn’t have many years in the league. That speed and quickness were something else.

    Do the John Wall dance

  6. Man all these Uber athletic point guards always have a sad ending to their careers. Had wall not torn his Achilles walking up some stairs in 2018 he’d definitely still be contributing.

  7. shout to anyone that lived in or was around DC during the John Wall / Stadium era if u know u know

  8. Raleigh be the city where we like to do the dance, flex to the left throw some money out yo hands

Do it for the city and we do it for the fans, but to ball like Wall then you gotta do the dance

  9. I was at this game, this was my favorite game, I’ve been to many wizards games and this was one of the loudest the arena has ever been

  10. Gil’s team and Wall’s team only relevant Wiz teams in the modern era. DC better love Wall.
