He is definitely pitching better in New York than he did here, though he was obviously pretty good here as well other than the first two weeks of the season that got him demoted. Quite a ride for him in 2025.
Thanks to us giving him to the Yankees practically free of charge
Way to go for Renegade. Trading him was the right call.
I mean, he should have absolutely been traded. The return should have been better. But Cherington prefers quantity over quality
Them using him as a 2 inning closer wasnβt what I had on my bingo card. Always felt like when his pitch count got up his pitches flattened out and he got shelled
In several other timelines Bednar is the heart and soul and Skenes is the dick and balls of a team making a serious playoff push 2024-whenever.
Instead here on Earth 412 the Pirates are owned by a cartoonishly evil motherfucker named Robert Nutting.
Good for him. Hope he get’s paid!
Good for him. Cherington likely opted for catchers because Davis looks like heβs gonna be Jason delay at best and endyβs catching career is probably over. Not as bad of a trade as it couldβve been, let it go. Thereβs no point in the pirates having an all star closer. The Jameson tailon and Josh bell trades were far worse
You cant hurt meβ¦.. YOU CAN ONLY DISAPPOINT ME!!!
If we would have gotten a top tier prospect for Bednar, we would have had to bring him up to the big leagues. We all know thatβs not happening with this ownership
Who would have guessed David Bednar was a good reliever? Crazy suggestion.
The decision to trade him was the right decision, the trade was just dogshit from BC.
What a redemption arc!
I’m so happy for David Bednar.
Iβm happy a guy from Mars is out there killing it for the Yankees. Makes this Martian proud.
Good for him. Go get a championship renegade.
The meltdown is coming, it always does…
How do you pitch .2 of an inning?
The trade was fine, the return was not
Glad our friend is doing well. I donβt like to see Yankees do well but Iβll make an exception for when he pitches.
Still donβt understand why baseball doesnβt have a salary cap while the nfl and nba do. Can anyone help me with this?
Good for him, glad heβs crushing it. Hope he wins a championship
Im happy for him. The last 2 years here were a real struggle. Go bednar !
