John Wall crosses up Joe Mazzulla and hits a 3 in his face, then blocks him on the other end

  1. What a wild interpretation of that video.

Looked more like the block came before the crossover, and very much looks like a 2 and not a 3.

  2. Wvu won that game too lol. That Kentucky team was STACKED. Underrated tournament upset honestly

  3. If you show this to Coach Mazzulla tomorrow, he’d just be like, “Ha, yeah, I would drop that motherfucker tomorrow, I’ll ask him if he wants to meet in the dojo”

  4. Mazulla and West Virginia went on to win this game and advance to the Final Four before losing to Duke. Duke also went on to beat Brad Stevens’ Butler team. Character building moments for future Celtics coaches.

  5. Joe after the game: *”I’m forged by fire. Crossed over? Sure. Blocked? Absolutely. The obstacles to growth take those forms. If you don’t pass through pain, you can’t say you’re human. Am I a human now? Not yet. It’s an endless struggle. We won the game, and I ended up on the wrong end of a Sportscenter highlight. A good day.”*

  6. kinda sad how a lot of kids here never saw how much of a demon john wall was on the court. he was really fun to watch

  7. Offtopic, but that couple of year stretch when tight jerseys and baggy shorts were popular was a real blunder.

  8. Damn, this really puts it into perspective to me that my generation are really unc’s in the league….The ones that are left.

  9. No wonder he became a coach instead. That block and crossed up combo is the type of shit that makes dudes realize they just don’t have it for the league.
