  1. This was literally every playoff game we’ve played for the last 6 years. No clutch genes and no bounces that go our way. I’ll believe a brewers offense will show up in the postseason when I see it

  2. Goddamn it that was smoked by Bill.

Kill the rally tomorrow and none of this matters.

  3. When I said the 14 game streak allowed us room to buffer, I didn’t actually want us to buffer. Too many missed opportunities today we had plenty of chances. Losing on Sunday now hurts quite a bit. Gotta take tomorrow otherwise I think a slight panic is warranted because the Cubs have a very favorable schedule.

  4. Well in the end it was a fun baseball game with the wrong result.

Fuck the Doomers though my god. Can you wait until we don’t have the MLB-best record anymore to be insufferable at least please?

  5. We still hold a great lead in the division, but man, I don’t like losing this series.

  6. Murphy has to make a decision with mis. He is gassing the pen every time he takes the mound and we cant afford to do that right now. We arent a cellar dweller that can afford to let a guy figure it out. I expect a move to the pen or him being sent down.

  7. I know we’re still in a strong position to take the division and the 1 seed. But when I say “will always be worried this team is gonna hurt me in October” this is what that looks like. Hopefully we knock the ice out now early

  8. Ik hindsight is 20/20 but that’s a tie game if Pat just leaves Uribe in. Guess they trust whatever system they have going and sometimes it won’t work.

  9. how can you be mad at contreras that looked like the go-ahead right there. nevermind the go-ahead we blew versus the reds

  10. The sooner we get a healthy Chourio back the better. Collins and Perkins both have looked a bit in over their heads in this series. Maybe Collins will reset a bit once the Brewers get back to AmFam field as so far he still hasn’t recovered from the paternity leave situation.

  11. We’ve beat ourselves 2/3 games, and on top of it their defense has been insane and we keep hitting straight into their gloves.

Get it tomorrow. Remind yourselves we still have Chourio and Hoskins in the near future. It sucks that its them but theyre suddenly playing october-ball and hell, someone was gonna do it.

  12. I had a sneaking suspicion our devil magic would run out for this series. Was really hoping to be proven wrong

  13. We knew this was going to be a tough series but these guys definitely aren’t playing with the power of friendship and pocket pancakes right now. It’s very frustrating. Cubs pitching was good and unfortunately we couldn’t protect on the mound today. After months of amazing fundamental baseball, we left 9 people on base today.

We just need to take a breath and get back to playing average joe baseball. No need to shoot for the moon when we know small ball is our forte.

  14. IMO, the over-the-top exaggeration from Cubs fans makes it feel worse than it really is.

  15. You know, last year, if we were down 3-4 in the 9th with bases loaded and two outs, and Contreras came up to bat, I’d be feeling pretty confident.

  16. This series was basically a playoff series warmup and it went like every post season for the last 7 years.

  17. Maybe too early to start thinking about this but nine more losses and we all have to give a hamburger to George Webb
