  8. These competitive games in August and September are far more valuable than the 3 or 4 Buttreys and Rondons they could have acquired at the deadline.

  14. Despite the bad stretch we’ve had at the deadline, being only 5 games out of .500 feels good. That Dodgers sweep really helped us.
