  11. Yeah I got downvoted earlier this summer saying he’s simply not an NBA player anymore

    It does not take away anything from his hall of fame career. He’s had an amazing run, but everything has a shelf life.

  14. Russ has had an amazing career, first ballot hall of fame amazing. I think his career, at least in the NBA, might be over. He can still go overseas (eg China), and be a star.

  28. I wasn’t as high on his impact with the Nuggets this season as a lot of people but surely he’s worth the vet minimum to some team. There are for sure worse players making that much or more.

  29. I get he’s kind of washed now and maybe I’m just biased because I’m an okc fan but I feel like he proved to some level with the nuggets that he still has value on the court at least as much as a solid 8-9th man, yeah he’s old but it’s not like he’s playing horrible or anything

  33. The Kings can pretty easily create room on the roster. Terence Davis is on a fully non-guaranteed contract and is still on the roster just in case that money is needed for a trade.

  35. I’d wager Russell ends up on an NBA roster this season. He might not be who he was, but he absolutely hasnt fallen off so badly that no team will take him and he’s useless. The only reason he doesn’t, is if it’s a money issue. If it’s just based on talent/usefulness, he’s still got enough of that to land a contract somewhere.

    Denver couldn’t have beaten the clippers without him because Kawhi was on a fuckin mission lol

  38. As usual, Westbrook’s flaws will be highlighted meanwhile the guy will keep making great plays and winning games. He was solid for the nuggets. Unlike jokic who had a great first game, great last game in the series they got knocked out. Meanwhile his TEAMMATES ares the ones who carried the nuggets in that series. Or we going to pretend that Chet didn’t own Jokic for that series. Not to mention Jokic couldn’t stop anyone.

    Meanwhile Jokic fans will tell you he’s better than Giannis but I GUARANTRE you on the nuggets roster Nuggets winning the chip if you swap jokic for giannis. Bucks don’t make the playoffs.
