From the innings I listened to tonight it was great show by Kickuchi and the bullpen.
Rodger Lodge went out of his way to mention we are only 6 1/2 out of the wild card. Makes me want to adjust my attitude to be more like Rodger Lodge, although he is probably paid well to always see the glass half-full.
A payroll fact of the reds is they are at 119 million. So even if Rendon and Trout and Stephenson bench sit all next year we will have an equivalent payroll. The Reds I think our now 1/2 game out for a third wild card.
Obviously competitive, meaningful baseball in August.
