Marek knows his stuff. Good interview Brodie 👍
Who is this guy, some civilian??
Jeff is the man. Thanks for having him on Brodie!
NBC and Sportsnet absolutely fumbled the bag by letting these two goats go
Hey Brodie and Jeff, Brodie! I really like Jeff's knowledge and his insights from a historical perspective. Really fun conversation. I am with you guys on the new NCAA route that has been created for CHL players. I think it's the right idea but, some further consideration needs to instituted for the CHL and also stopping guys from flipping back and forth like they do right now in the NCAA. Flexibility is one thing but, this is something else. The degree of freedom being afforded the players is creating unacceptable levels of uncertainty for the CHL and the NCAA so as you guys noted something needs to be done there to make it fair and flexible for all.

Shocked that NHL coaches aren't using load management. They should have been using it for the past decade. Gregg Popovich got a ton of criticism for doing it. Also, he won championships. The NH playoffs are literally called a battle of attrition. Plus, it doesn't much matter where you finish in the regular season. This year's Cup Final was between the team which finished 4th in the East and the team which finished 6th in West.
The first thing I thought when the new CBA was signed and we got an 84 game schedule (That goes to close to July) is this league might be trying to kill it's players. Don't talk to me about player safety and then make them go all out for a full season. Game Management might just be inevitable because it's either that or long term injury.
