4. Dubas wants Hildaby, i would like to get Rust he shoots right and would be a perfect linemate for the 1st line. i would keep AA he looks like a keeper. the first is too much tho

6. Andrew in your first trade for Bryan Rust, considering his age, I would take Bobby McMann, 2028 1st Round Pick and Artur Akhtyamov off the table and instead throw in Max Domi, Nick Robertson and 2027 3rd Round pick. Pittsburg won't even get this generous a deal from any other NHL team.

7. Artur Akhyamnov could be a single great trade in 3 to 4 years.

Ask yourself this is Easton Cowan ready he has looked good the few times he played with the big team I think this up coming training camp we will see if Cowen has what it takes to make the big team he should be ready by now and as for Robertson he is an underrated player and I think given the chance to play on second line as a regular he can and will outscore Domi that is just my opinion so if your looking for more scoring to me Roberton is the better player

17. Love the idea of adding Rust very much. He’s a vet and is the perfect winger to add for this team. I think the trade you had is perfect and what the framework for a trade could look like. Only we have to hope that Dubas and co. would be interested in our “B” prospects. I’m cool with trading either one of AA or Hildeby, whichever one they prefer. I would like even be ok with trading Danford as long as it would substitute the 2028 1st. If they ask for Cowan, hang up the phone.

19. That is too much for Rust, he is a decent player but not a 5 player package, no way. Maybe, Bobby McMann, Robertson and a 2nd or 3rd round, definitely not a 1st or that goalie Artur or Cowan. The Leafs are gonna need goaltending in the not so distant future, and Artur should be ready for the NHL when that time comes. The Leafs have traded away good young goalies in the past and it turned out to be a huge mistake. You all know what I am talking about. So for me, it's no to the 5 player, especially Artur

20. Never Easton Cowan. 5 pieces for Rust is a lot. I would pull the goalie out of the trade at least. Have the Penguins throw a 4th rounder back in the trade.

    Hell next you will be saying Austin Matthews would not be enough.

22. Until the Leafs get bigger and tougher, they have no shot in hell, in defeating the Panthers! 9 years of Playoff failures due to "SOFT" Leaf teams? When is management going to realize this! This area of concern should have been addressed after 2 Playoff disasters, not 9 years later! Skill alone will never, ever win you a Stanley Cup, period.

24. I love Rust, but I don’t think his value is nearly that high. Drop one of the picks, drop one of McMann or Robertson and it’s closer.
    1st, Robertson, AA may not be quite enough, but 1st, McMann, AA absolutely would be imo

25. If the Leafs made that proposed trade I actually think it would be the worst trade of all time for the Leafs. No joke . It’s that bad.
