I haven’t paid attention to espn in years. Maybe like 2016 or something like that?
They don’t even have really any good sports events.
ayYO we WHAT the Cubs????🤨
My guess is that they considered the first game that we won the makeup game that was postponed 2 months ago and not a part of the 4 game series originally planned when we’ve just been saying this is a 5 game series.
How about: Brewers first MLB team to win 80 games
ESPN has a sports app?
The game 1 on Monday was the make up game from June. So it didn’t count as part of the 4 game series on the record books. Technically the brewers did avoid the sweep for this August series.
They can’t count to five, even on their fingers.
I saw that!!
How about it was no sweep to begin with,
Why do we espn validation?
I mean, the first game they won was the rescheduled game, so it would actually have been a sweep of the scheduled four game series.
This post has an ESPN ad on it for me lmao
The first game was the makeup from the rainout, so technically, this win was to avoid a sweep. However, admittedly, I at first did the same double-take at that headline.
In fairness, Monday seems like last year at this point.
Game 1 was a make-up game and, as such, technically a different series.
*Who’s really dumb, now*?
Does that mean we had a 1 game sweep followed by dropping 3 of 4?
