I only tuned in tonight hoping they’d put Carson Williams in (and because I’m a glutton for punishment). No Carson, but my eyes were, indeed, punished by watching this ball game.
This team vibes-wise feel like they simultaneously accept their destiny, going through the motions, and then fight against it enough that it looks competitive until they lose. It’s frustrating to watch.
I was at this game with a friend…. section 218 row G.
When the bases were loaded twice in the same inning (I forgot which inning) and then we only scored the one run, it was very deflating, even the crowd felt deflated to me.
