  1. Congrats to Lucas!! And Emma has nothing to be sorry for. Those emotions are valid and I'm glad she could be open/vulerable.

  2. I'm no one to talk, and a tee-totaler myself. It's remarkable you arrived at such a major decision when you're still young enough, and vital enough to play actively. I wish you the absolute best for a long, healthy life. A good friend of mine gave up drinking entirely about 8 yrs ago – he has no regrets to my knoeledge whatever. You're doing yourself a major favor.

  3. This is a great story and thank you for sharing. Showing emotion and sharing a story like this isn't easy, but it helps people everyday see that there is always hope no matter how bad things look.

  4. This really affected me. I have a similar problem and I can identify with his pain. Big fan of his, and Bubic of KC. Good guy, wish him the best but yeah this story is heart felt. Much luck and well wishes to Erceg.

  5. So much pressure on 20-30 year olds to drink. Pro baseball adds to it. Drinking in the clubhouse after the game, promoting alcohol, it also used to be cigarettes. Goodness the banned chew in the minors.

  6. been a huge royals fan for a long time when u came to the team I looked you up and was so happy to have a amazing person and to see your amazing story was great. btw I love the glove u had on last season

  7. Awe. Lucas and Emma are amazing people. Its not just about baseball and they get that. Way to be vulnerable. Lucas has become a favorite player of mine and this is further proof why.
