  1. Lee made a statement in the Hornets draft video that was telling for me. In regards to Kon he said, "He can play now." Hoping for Kon to start at 2-3 and he would be first player to be subbed out. Let Melo run with Kon and Miller to start and then bring in Mann for his Melo run. just a thought

  2. My dream projected starting positions (1-5): Ball, Miller, Kon, Bridges and Moose / Bench brigade (1-5, kind of): Mann, Sexton, TJ, Grant Williams and Kaulk / Fighting for minutes (1-5, although less important): KJ, Liam, Sian, Green and Mason. Break in case of Emergency: NSJ, Pat and Spencer (although 2 of these 3 guys are probably gone).

  3. think you're right about Kalkbrenner being destined to start out with the Swarm. Reading the tea leaves it's probably why PJ bolted for Memphis. Which I'm still PO'd about. Talk about a screen setter and Hornets DNA guy, he fit the bill.

  4. They're not starting plumlee over moose lol he's 35 on a vet minimum contract. Last year they traded all of their centers to give moussa more run. Its gonna be him

  5. Knuepel will start over Sexton. He is a connector and you don’t sit a #4 pick that's been pushed in the Hornets media as the future. Sexton is the second team scoring punch and Dinwiddie is third string LaMelo injury insurance. Kalkbrenner will get some Swarm burn but will get more minutes with the big team because he offers something different than the other centers don’t. Grant Williams will play some small ball center. Depending on how he plays, Tijan will get early minutes as the backup 4. He's their guy so they will give him plenty of opportunity to gain playing experience. Smith, Jeffries and Connaughton will be gone opening night with Green to follow by the deadline.
