Why Micah Parsons is UNHAPPY w/ Jerry Jones & Dallas Cowboys | THE HERD NFL

Danny Parkins is in for Colin Cowherd to discuss the latest in NFL preseason. He starts with the Dallas Cowboys and reacts to Jerry Jones’ comments about Micah Parsons. Will Parsons suit up for Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles? Danny then moves on to other star NFL holdouts including Trey Hendrickson with the Cincinnati Bengals, Terry McLaurin with the Washington Commanders, and more contract disputes.

  1. I'm a cowboys fan. I'd rather trade him for multiple picks than give 45 million to a non qb but im sure Jerry will pay him top 10 qb money.

  2. Sorry but if Parsons isn't devoting 100% of his professional life to playing football he doesn't deserve to be the highest paid defensive player in the league
He's not the best defensive player either. He's not even healthy enough. If I were Jerry, I'd be playing hard ball and looking to trade him too. Watt has a DPOY, Garrett has a DPOY.

  3. I’m just surprised that nobody has really talked about the wording of the contract. Like, don’t athletes hire agents to go through the formal minutiae? What if there was fine print of jargony language. I’m not saying this is happening here but the whole point of an agent is to act on behalf of the player.

  4. part of the problem is EVERY time some guy wants to renegotiate they ALWAYS want to be the highest paid non QB. This should only happen like once every 10 years, because only 1 person in the entire league can be the best non-QB. For example, Myles Garrett should be the highest paid non-QB for the next 3-5 years. The next guy should get less money, not more.

  5. Dallas Cowboys players should make great salaries. With the risk of serious injuries it is a must. But earning 30 million, 40 million, 50 million is absurd. If there was no salary cap it would be different but the cap is needed. I won't be able to go to another Cowboys game in person but that is allright I can watch the games on TV

  6. Actually, the question is, Will Parsons get it with the Cowboys or will he be traded, and who will be the sucker to give the Cowboys three #1' picks, which the Cowboys can pony them into three #1 picks in the draft this upcoming year and grab a quarterback Mike Arch Manning that's what Jimmie Johnson would do

  7. Trade him, he sucks in big games anyway, just like Dak , just like Romo did. When we get another Aikman then we have a chance.
This team will be last in the division anyway. Don’t pay him!!!!

  8. Parkins is correct here, well almost. Now I may be proven wrong in a couple of days but It’s not just about 💰 anymore. Between the constant metaphors of Micah being a kid, the circumvention of the establish agent to team rules, and everything in between has alienated Micah.

  9. People come to the Herd to keep their career alive. Danny is a perfect example of failing upward. He’s not charismatic or good on tv, yet he keeps getting chances because of his relationships. This dude is like the doc rivers of Fox sports 😂

  10. Michah! You're being used. Want to show 'em up? Pull a Reggie White. Head to Green Bay. Yes! They're a real contender and you could make them a reeeeeeeel contender. When Reggie showed up, Super Bowls followed. So did a lotta love. So did the Hall of Fame. They'll pay you what you're worth. Hint, hint.

  11. This is poor reporting. The agent (David) only denied the language, he never denied the claims Jerry Jones made. Like a snake lawyer he's playing the media word games. Why doesn't the media look a bit deeper into the agent because he has a history.
