Cubs win 2-3 on Ryne Sandberg day. Beautiful

cubs win 3-2 (2-3) is a great script on the day of Ryno’s funeral. RIP Ryno

Big fucking nuts on PCA and Danny P.
Here’s to Matt Shaw putting on a defensive clinic tonight!

Hell yeah! That. Was. Awesome!
PCA and tucker home runs. Hell yeah.
Great outing from Assad ✅
HR from Tuck and PCA ✅
Danny P throwing gas and a clean inning ✅

These guys are a lot of fun
Big W, happy to see tuck and PCA homer, hopefully that marks the start of them figuring it out. Offense still as concerning as ever though.
Pat so psyched that Palencia K’d Trout
He kept talking about it in the postgame
Beautiful 9th inning! PCA & Tucker big flys – let’s start making that a regular occurrence from here through October 🙏
I *love* watching Counsell’s reaction to Pete’s hit.

We are all Justin Turner
Pca and Kyle Tucker tonight

MVPete with an appearance.
I love how he gassed the first two and then through nothing but splitters to the scary man
Big smart
PCA taking some of the most miserable swings we’ve seen from him, and he ends up hitting the game-winning homer.
Baseball!
holy shit Pete needed that. Go cubs!

It definitely looks like we’re coming out of it at the right time. This is about the point last year that the Tigers went on a tear.
Seiya RBI, Tucker HR, and PCA game winning HR. Take me back to May
Things are moving towards a strong finish. Tucker and PCA, but can’t forget Happ getting robbed of one as well. And Shaw’s defense. Holy cow.
We need a GIF of Counsell’s reaction to PCA’s HR.
Bears and cubs win late in the game!

Assad was a fucking stud!!
Kenley serving the welcome to Anahiem cookies tonight!
PCA just loves the west coast
Seiya, Tucker, and PCA all get RBIs? Palencia gets a 1-2-3 save? Multiple homers hit in the same game?
This doesn’t feel as much like August (even the weather here is confused).
Everyone in the game chat saying how tucker and pca were dumb decisions
We’ve got Tucker and PCA coming out of their slumps. We’ve got Matt Shaw emerging as a star defender. Assad back and pitching great for the first time this year. Our bullpen continues to dominate.
A lot to like about today.
If Tucker and PCA can get back in a groove then it’s on like Donkey Kong. And I’ll take Assad in good form too.
Shout out to palencia for recording a much less stressful save tonight
I’ve seen enough! Shaw is the 3B of the future. Dude is a vacuum out there!
I like the Rocky 4 / Ivan Drago references on the post game show.
Boy did Pete need that
Peep tonight, he cares lol Mr. CC
Our manager trying his best lol

2 or 3 hits away from this game being a blow out, the Cubs put pressure on the pitchers, and even though they didn’t convert base runners in to runs as frequently as we’d all like, it’s refreshing to see them have a lot of competitive at-bats. First comes the runners, then come the runs
Reds get walked off.
