23. Really nice seeing Strome finally getting to that Elite level. It seemed that he was gonna be a big bust but these last 3 seasons have been awesome for him.

25. Many Habs fans didn't even consider Suzuki a true #1 center until last season. Now he is consider a top 10 by many. We have a lots of great fans (a few delusionals) but we have a bunch of pessimist ones too.

26. Some people look at Barkov's production and then claim he's getting overrated now. People tend to put a bit too much stock into some of these stats I think. In Barkov's case, they might think he's just not capable of scoring better, or that he's not scoring as much as he could or should be. But that's a load of crap. Look at what he did when the Panthers won the Presidents Trophy. 88 points in 67 games, 39 goals. Panthers played an offensive style that worked VERY well in the regular season, and he scored at a pace that would absolutely justify where Barkov is ranked. But the Panthers realized that style of play doesn't win in the playoffs. And they since found a formula that DOES win, and they play that style the entire year. And Barkov's production is a result of that change. He doesn't score as much because he doesn't HAVE to. He can play a much more balanced, 200-foot game and rely on his teammates, and the Panthers have the depth to roll all 4 lines night in and night out. Perfect example of that, last 2 seasons, Average Time On Ice – McDavid 21,22/22,02 – MacKinnon 22,49/22,47 – Barkov 19,38/20,15 (used commas to not timestamp the video).
