Odds are, most of these players will fizzle out. But how awesome would it be for these guys to continue to dominate all the way through the minors? They could end up with decent home grown talent in a few years

  1. Used to work there when Ramos, Bart, and Jelly were there. Still sad about Bart not panning out

  2. I keep saying, 2030 is going to be awesome, but people have to realize most of the core will be overpaid underperforming albatrosses by then. Which is why I think the move is to trade some of the longterm contracts not named Devers (ie Adames and/or Chapman) for more prospect capital if you can get anything. My concern though is that neither will bring back much, Chapman bc of his age and Adames bc of his defense at SS being in steep decline. Both are likely contracts teams arent going to want to take on, thereby limiting their return. But if they COULD trade them for prospects, I would and just call the next 2-3 seasons. PROJECT 2030.

It was time to rebuild years ago. Ownership needs to allow it to happen.
